An interesting and informative book for anyone interested in the Akashic Record.
My interests and passions are wide and varied. Even though I am in my golden years my thirst to learn has never be satisfied. I had briefly heard about the Akashic records but actually did not know anything about them and decided it was time to research the topic. The idea of a “Hall of all knowledge ever created in the history of time” is an appealing concept and I recently purchased this fascinating 314 page soft cover book (The complete idiot’s guide to the Akashic records by Dr. Synthia Andrews, ND and Colin Andrews) for a bargain price on Amazon.I have read quite a few of the “complete idiot’s guide” series in the past and found them to be an excellent resource even though the name is terrible. This book is organized into five parts and explains in detail the particular topic of the Akashic records. The first part gives information on the “cosmic record keeping” giving an overview of what the Akashic records are. The second part covers the “pieces of the Akashic puzzle.” Part three deals with “The Akashic present.” Some of the chapters in this interesting section include discovering your path and purpose, past loves and future partners and other information. Part four explains “Akashic imprints.” In this section the physics of the future and future passages are explored. The final part covers “keys to the library.” This section gives advice on how to tap into the cosmic records. There is also a ton of great information in the appendixes section that I found interesting and informative. If you are seeking an excellent book about the Akashic Record you should check out this volume.Rating: 5 Stars. Joseph J. Truncale (Author: Chair/Seated Tai Chi, Qigong and Yoga for seniors and the physically challenged).

It's pretty condensed; It get to the point quickly. It's not an Idiots Guide as the title might suggest
This book is not "for dummies" or "idiots". I previewed this book beforehand, a few chapters after which I bought the kindle edition. It's not a slow read, it's actually condensed and gets to the point quickly. You can't exactly call one book "Akashic Records" but this book mainly understands there is all one light (figuratively) in the universe, even through individual bondage. All things work out in the end for Jehovih's purpose. The Ra Material says that Edgar Cayce had access to the Akashic Records but all true truth 'seekers' do.Akasha is within all and the aggregate teachings of the world (many in a symbolic aspect) fall into Jehovih's plan. The term/person Asha is actually in Zoroastrianism.I wouldn't say it's a five star book because it was not directly channeled but it's a good read. I wouldn't agree with everything but it carries symbols of many ancient civilizations and religions. There are those that are going up the hill into light and those races who are going down and don't follow Jehovih's will. But there is a purpose in all things, all nobles who invent technology in a certain time are under Jehovih's will and there is purpose in everything so the best of the people, no matter what religion, can learn what's right and what's wrong in the end. The world is about to change. The book explains the aspect of love very well and with accuracy. God is Love. Even though most prophets were celibates, and most religions agree, and this book channels the idea of even a bad marriage in the end can be thought of a good growing experience. It's definitely a well written book, yet some of the ideas... like for example reincarnation, is not really good for the human thought of man in this day and age.I have not yet read everything but I mostly like what I see because Jehovih is known as the "All Person" and is in everything. This is a good author, with better writing skills than most.I just hate books that you get one idea or one thought from the author two or more paragraphs. That's just me...I like that this book gets to the point quickly and this author does.So far so good.

When I want to study a particular subject, I begin with "The Complete Idiot's Guide To" if there is one in publication. These books give me a very well organized presentation that will leave me with even more than just the basics you might get from Wiki. The Complete Idiot's Guide To The Akashic Record does just that. I am still reading this fascinating book but want to let potential readers know that if they are like I am and want a layman's approach to a subject they know very little or nothing about, this is the way to go. I like how the authors, Dr. Synthia Andrews, ND and Colin Andrews use highlights in separate boxes such as: Timeless Tips (more info on the topic), Library Links (insights and connecting thoughts), Quote Box (Akashic Wisdom that illuminates and inspires), and the Etheric Advisory Box (warning about misconceptions, pitfalls, etc.). She even includes a Definition Box (for unusual terms and concepts). At the end of each chapter the book has a section called, The Least You Need to Know. If you're in a hurry, you can skip to those bulleted items or you can go there first to see what you want to pay close attention to. In any case, I highly recommend The Complete Idiot's Guide To The Akashic Record for those interested in learning more about tapping into the limitless energy of the collective consciousness for the purpose of living one's life to the fullest (through knowledge of one's past, present and future). Another likeness, according to this source, for Akashic Record is the Judeo-Christian term, "The Book of Life." Fascinating!

Excellent
Not the most catchy title and to be honest it almost put me off. However, having now read the book I can honestly say it was an excellent book. Extremely well written in an easy to understand format. With lots of hints, tips and references to do further research on history and places that they mention. All the information you need to know about what the Akashic Records are.If you are interested in having your records read it is an unbelievable experience, if you want a decent reference source to read to help you understand all about the Records then I can highly recommend this book.Kitchen Witch UK

Not brilliant. Gives an overview though.
Beware. There are two types of book on the Akashic Records. The first type explain the records in detail and then give us the exercises and sacred prayer which allows us to gain entry into the records. The second type gives us information on the records but then advises us to contact a reader of the records, usually someone we have to pay. This book falls into the second category.

Excellent book - easy to ready and informative
I really enjoyed reading this book. The akashic record is quite an obscure subject and there are other books on this topic that I find quite hard to read because badly written. This one cover well the subject, with a lot of information and is easy to read. I recommend.
