Artificial Fake Rose Petals, Silk Flowers Petals, 3000 PCS, Dark Red

I brought them for my boyfriend's birthday. I searched a lot of similar products, but all of them have kinds of drawbacks. I give this one five stars because they look so real which definitely worth the price. Since they all are stick together, you will need to take some time to separate them one by one. I spent around one hour to separate two bags of them. The drawback is that they smell like fish, but for me, the smell is acceptable, it does not as someone said, the whole room will get affected by the smell. I soaked them in the water with body wash for around 10 minutes, then clean them up and dry them on the table, until they became totally dry, I spray perfume to make them smell nicer. I would definitely use them again if needed. kindly reminder: clean them will take you some time.

Ok so let me start by saying if you’re reading about the scent yes they do smell horrible !!! But ....... if you’re not lazy and do what I actually got from a review I had read prior of buying the horrible scent will be gone GONEEE!!!!! My procedure was I open package got a big bowl with half warm water and any fabric softener but I went with a rose smell softer mix and then I stated to separate them super easy my little girls even helped me and was done in less than 30 min then I left them to soak for like 10 good minutes then I put all of them on a drain bowl and of course I used the pillowcase trick LOL!! and put it under Low on my dryer and walaaa!!!! They smell so good !!!!! And for 9 dollars pfff!!!

I bought these for my wedding, and they looked so romantic down the aisle and decorated the tables. They came packaged clumped together in large stacks. Separating them was easy to do. The pack has 3000 petals in it, which was more than enough for my wedding. I still had extras afterwards. Honestly, the first impression made me nervous to use them, because they looked quite fake up close. Once I had them all separated and scattered on the ground, I looked at them from a distance, and they looked way better! They captured very well in the professional photos we had taken. The photos made them look soft and you could not even tell they were fake. My 2 flower girls had a lot of fun walking down the aisle with them and putting them on the ground. The petals I had decorating the tables held up well during my entire reception. Do not let the initial impression of them scare you, they looked amazing at my wedding and did exactly what I needed them to do.

I bought 2 red and 1 white packs of these rose petals. They are much better than the ones I ordered previously. The red ones had a slight smell and a bit harder to separate. The white ones had no smell and were easy to separate. Red filled a white kitchen garbage bag 3/4 full and the white ones filled about 1/2 of the bag. I added a dryer sheet to the bags to help with static clinging . It took about 4 hours to separate them all. I am satisfied with these. The previous reviews, were very helpful!

Um, where to start. I needed enough red rose petals to cover a studio floor. It was okay to see some floor but I needed a lot of rose petals. I settled on 9k of these rose petals as the best value. I read all the reviews, prepared myself for the horrible smell and the time it would take to separate all 9k petals. These are the sacrifices for the value, know that when purchasing. They arrived promptly and I was surprised how compact the packaging was. I remember looking at one pack saying, this is 3k petals? The smell, yes, the smell is HORRIBLE! Even my cats thought it smelled like they were produced in a fish factory. I thought if I took the time to wash the petals as I separated them, using a fabric softener, that it would eliminate some, if not most of the odor. I also thought if I allowed them to air dry with fans for a day, then air out for a solid week that the smell would dissipate. People, I was wrong, very wrong. I opened up the packages I had the 9k petals in the day I needed them, in a contained area, and they smelled just as bad as they did the first time I opened the package. If you are tolerant to perfume sprays or dryer sheets then you should try using those to eliminate (hopefully) the smell. Someone suggested I needed to put the petals in a big bag with a dryer sheet and shake the bag several times a day. I’m allergic to dryer sheets so I could not try this out. Another component of the smell is that you have to recognize that it’s likely some type of chemical. If you’re sensitive to these things or might be pregnant I would exercise caution. We had a pregnant woman at the studio when we used these petals and I would not allow her to touch them at all. It took me about an hour per packet to separate all the petals. So in all it took me about 3 hours plus time for drying and turning the petals to “process” all 9k petals. If I had to do it again I would still wash all the petals but consider adding a scent or oil to the water when I washed them. I would also try spraying them with Febreeze. Also, be prepared for these petals to shed. They start raveling at the edges and you’ll find red threads everywhere. So in the end, yes, these things will stink, likely no matter what you do. And I fully believe the reviewers who claimed the smell ruined their sexy date night. I get it. I had a lot of explaining to do to everyone in the studio the day I used them. But are they the best value for the money, yes, a very stinky yes.
