I am really pleased with keter 265 storage bench.It came on time delivery guy put it where I wanted it, the one corner of the box was damaged and he apologised as he had picked it up with plastic ties and they were not on very good, was not his fault. Any way I opened up and everything was OK, I ticked off and checked every thing as they advise. The instructions and markings on each item was great as I'm a 78 years young lady only small in height I did wonder am I going to do this by my self 😅But have a go, it took me couple of hours as I did have a coffee stop at one stage.Found it all very easy to understand even on the 2 person stage I wedged it between fence and a plant pot, where there,s a way 😀Only part I had a bit of difficulty with was stage12 sliding the base down but I don't think the breeze helped and me only being 5feet high, but I did it.I'm very pleased with this product and if it lives upto Keter products that I've purchased in the passed that will be greatLooks good and a lot of storage space.Thank you

Bought the bench as a replacement for a garden box and it is perfect. Looks great, bought the mushroom/beige/ brown seat. Good area for storage, very sturdy. All the components were clearly labelled and easy to follow instructions. Extremely pleased with this bench and would definitely recommend.

Read lots of the reviews for this product before placing my order on the 15/2/25. I needed an item for storage while emptying my garage/workshop. The idea of it being a seat proved even more useful. The reviews were very mixed but so long as all the bits were there and it went together I'd be happy.Large box arrived on 18/2/25, well packed which was good becaused the delivery driver tried to carry it by one of the plastic ties around it which broke! Not surprisingly, he dropped the box. He placed it in my garage for me to open at leisure.Morning of the 19/2/25, I opened the box and carfully removed all componants, checking them off and checking over them for faults. Nothing missing (in fact, extra screws were supplied), a couple a bits looked slghtly warped but from previous experience with flat packs, all had a bit of give in it so should go together. Layed an old sheet on the living room carpet and began putting it together (didn't want to do it on a hard service and scratch it). Everything was stamped with its number and the instructions were clear to follow.All was going well, I even managed step 4 on my own where it said 2 people. Step 5 took the longest time, getting the 2 slots in the centre to click in ( they had not been pressed out thoroughly) but an old flat bladed screwdriver serviced as a good mini chisel to cut the plastic away. Following steps all went smoothly until 12, fitting the 2nd side end on. Again a little cutting away of a slightly warped piece of plastic and it all clicked in fine. By click, you do hear a proper click when it falls into place. They suggest wearing work gloves, please do, I got a nasty pinch mark in the palm of my hand pushing one of the foot bases on, my own fault, I took the gloves of to do that bit! Took me 2 & 1/2 hours on my own from start to finish.Once finished it feels very sturdy and doesn't look too bad either, with a cushion on the seat and even a throw over the whole bench you would never know.Lots of storage space (it does say a maximum of 71lb inside). Very pleased with it considering the price. I would recommend this piece of furniture/storage. Can't say if its waterproof yet, it has only been stood ouside for 90 mins on a dry day!In the safety instructions it mentions "Wear safety googles and follow the manufacturers instructions when using power tools." You do NOT need any power tools to assemble this bench.

Brilliant bench with loads of storage space! Easy to build and comfortable to sit on. Perfect for the garden and storing tools. Can add a lock if required.

I was after a sturdy bench but didn't want to get a wooden one, was a little nervous with going for plastic but I'm so impressed with how sturdy and comfy this is!The instructions were easy to follow and I managed to put it together myself in less that half an hour.It's really comfy and there's plenty of room for storage. I would definitely recommend.

But posh for an allotment but just what I needed. Somewhere to store a few bits and bobs as well as somewhere to take my ease after a bit of work. Bought the cushion separately and secured it with a bungee as the allotment is exposed to wind.Looks good eh?

I ordered two of these benches but only one came the product is good easy to assemble but delivery not waited two day for this but nothing I still have it 5 star because I received the first one no problem

Serves a purpose with storage for garden items such as water cans hoses toys etc certainly wouldn't be using this to store soft furnishings etc a bit like purchasing a new shed with a leaking roof, I would also recommend that you cover this bench during the winter period due to frost and rain water Ingres's which could be a problem.Apart from this you can actually sit on this as long as there is no puddle in the middle as the heat warps the seating area.The bench is pretty average in use for British weather conditions as there is no weather sealing what so ever applied under the seating area but it can be done with some door push on seal strips no skills required it's a bit odd that they can't supply this as part of the package.Would I recommend this item? yes only if you are after some storage area as I did or if you are prepared to do some work on sealing the lid area.
