SuperNail 100% Swiss Silk Wrap Self-Adhesive Tabs

I use the silk wraps in conjunction with IBD 5 Second Brush-on Gel Resin; you have to use something like this resin with them, as they are only self-adhesive to the extent that they allow you to position the wrap on each nail (there are several good tutorials here and there on YouTube, if you're unsure how to use them). As a means of fortifying weak nails, the wraps work quite well, and I find that mine last for about a week. They usually end up popping off, behaving almost as if they were super-thin and lightweight false nails! Before I tried them, I was anxious that they would stick on too hard and damage my nail, but that's not been my experience, and I found that any excess wrap and resin (which is a bit like SuperGlue) can be removed with an acetone polish remover. Where the 'silk wrap plus resin' combo works best, however, is as a repair kit for a broken nail. Those really annoying breaks that occur very low down and from the side of the nail can be simply 'papered over', allowing the damaged nail to grow out.

These are great silk wraps which I bought alongside the resin and resin activator to help mend a split nail and the combo worked brilliantly.The little plastic case contains an assortment of sizes of nail wraps graduating from those for a tiny on your little finger to your thumb, so you just need to choose which one is the best fit for your nail. They can be trimmed to the length you want.This set of silk wraps will last absolutely ages.

Use this product to put underneath my gel overlay for extra strength, worked great although I did have trouble getting it to stick to my nail at first.

Arrived much earlier than expected. Used before to repair cracked nail. Really good product

Bit fiddly to cut to be fair but once on the nail with the glue in place makes the nail really strong, I let it dry and then buff a little. Continue with your nail gel as normal and you would never know you had anything on the nail... all in all I'm impressed 👍🏼

These just don't do anything. Sorry, I don't like leaving bad feedback but a waste of money for me and I can't return.

really good, once you get the hang of the stuff. but if you are not use to doing your own nails, do not buy. and they only good for putting over a nail as a hardener, not as an extention nail.

I am very satisfied! Without silk, applying only the glue on the nail is not lasting long (for guitar players).

I used this on a nail that had a catch in it to keep the rip from ripping off and it worked great! My nails are thin and I can’t keep them from ripping so this works really well. I’ve been able to keep my nails a bit longer and even put nail polish on them. I’m so excited to be able to wear nail polish again. lol.My husband plays the guitar every day and will often get catches in his nails, which affects his ability to play, I ordered this for him to try and it works really great for him. We did a 2.5 hour gig recently and they held up all the way through that. The finished effect is matte and a bit scratchy so be sure to have a buffer you can use to smooth out the surface.

Vi el producto en un vídeo, en internet, dónde lo utilizaban para repara uñas rotas. Yo tengo las uñas frágiles y se me rompen con frecuencia, muchas de las veces por debajo de la línea de la uña, con lo cuál no se soluciona cortándomelas. Pero probé con esta seda adhesiva, a la que luego hay que poner pegamento de uñas por encima para que quede fijada completamente, y la uña quedó reparada, fuerte y no se nota que estaba rota. Es genial!!

Great for repairing split nails, much better and lasts much longer on me than a teabag repair. Great on my natural nails and also great for repair under gel
