My corals an anemone like it
Comes in a packet not a pot. Dosnt make much difference realy. I feed it 2x a week an also feed anemone pellets. My bubble anemone seems to to show brighter colour after feeding this an will bubble up his tentacles. Just mix a little with some tank water, Turn off the pumps an I direct feed with a pippet to each of my corals an my red bubble anemone. Turn pumps back on after a few minutes. I've only had a reef tank for 3 months ,so not an expert but I belive feeding reef roids does benefit my corals.

Great food for corals.....and shrimp!
Bought as a feed for my corals. I mix a very small quantity (half a small tea spoon in 5ml of RO water) to create a slurry in a dish and feed the corals using a syringe. The corals love it and readily consume it....as does all manner of other creatures that pounce as soon as the first drop is released from the syringe. Because the slurry is heavier than water it is easy to dribble a little of the mix onto the polyps...I find I have to give some to my shrimp at the start just to keep him occupied otherwise he’ll steal from the polyps. I originally used tank water to mix the slurry but recently read that using RO water is better for inverts as it saves them energy by not having to expel salt from their food stuffs. The corals have bulked up very quickly being fed reef-roids twice a week....it's a remarkable food! You can also just squirt this stuff into the water and let the power heads blow it around the tank where it'll be caught by filter feeders...

A Must Have for any Reefer
This is a must have product for any reefer and is far the best on the market for keeping a mixed reef tank with LPS, SPS and softies. I broadcast feed 2-3 times a week, once on a Saturday morning and another 1-2 in the week when the lights go out. I simply mix a teaspoon of powder with some salt water from the tank in a cap for a few seconds and throw it in. Dosing instructions is clearly written on the outside of the tub. All corals open up and respond immediately which include trachy’s, scoly’s, goni’s, cynarina, long tentacle helio fungia, short tentacle plates, torch, favia, acans, hammer, hysterix, stylophora, zoas and mushrooms.

Wrong picture shown
This is not a tub of reef roids, it is a small packet.

Great coral food. Worth the high price
This product is great. I was abit apprehensive about buying this, i mean how much difference can this make over just feeding some shrimp. Well I was surprised. My corals opened up almost instantly after they had eaten this and the growth that I have experienced is incredible. I started feeding this to my Duncan and pipe organ and it has exploded since I started using this. The pipe organ has doubled in size and my Duncan has 3 new heads. I also started feeding my zoa's and the colour has improved so much. Highly recommend trying this. The only thing to be aware of is a nutrient spike if you broadcast feed, but if you target freed like I have been then I havent notice much of a change

Using reef roids and polyp booster is the key to my success. I have enjoyed the hobby for 10+ years and sold many corals at shows and supplied stores. My colours and quality were all thanks to these amazing products and they were highly saught after.

I was sort of skeptical about using this product in my 12 gallon nano cube, but it has turned out to be the best coral food product I've ever used. I used to feed Mysis shrimp. I found that fish and inverts would steal the shrimp from corals... I currently don't have any fish or shrimp in my tank, but I do have a serpent star and various snails, as well as an emerald crab. I feed the Reef Roids to my corals through a pipet, injecting the food (mixed with tank water) into every polyp I can find (My tank is vastly LPS dominated). I do this shortly after the lights turn on, and I think my corals are trained to eat during the day now... Feeder tentacles are always out. Pumps should be turned off when feeding reef Roids, otherwise the food will just flow away from the coral. After feeding, I leave the pumps off for 15-20 min to let them eat what they want. I haven't yet tried this with any SPS corals. I did pick up a Jack-O-Lantern Lepto the other day, so we will see how that does... I'll update the review when I've had it for long enough. I had a recent incident when I was away for 5 weeks, and the caretaker forgot to turn the main pump on after a feeding. Most of the corals were shriveled up and almost dead, and several polyps had bailed out. After a vigorous cleaning, I've been feeding the coral twice a day, and they are making a quick comeback; especially with Acans that were barely visible on their skeletons when I got home. The one drawback to this product is how easy it is to use too much. It introduces plenty of nutrients into the tank (which translates to nitrates). It should only be fed 2-3 times a week. Since I'm doing daily feedings until my corals are better, I'm doing 3 small water changes a week. Polyp booster, another product from the same company, is a great addition to a coral feeding program. I add a couple drops to my tank a few minutes before feeding, and it helps initiate a feeding response so that the Roids are taken in more easily.
