Desert Essence Thoroughly Clean Face Wash 32 fl oz

This facial cleanser is great for oily /acne prone / combination skin. When I first started using it, it left my combination skin feeling dry; but now it leaves me with clean, soft, balanced skin. It is gentle enough for daily use and effective at removing light-coverage makeup (can't really comment on its effectiveness at removing heavier makeup, as I only wear light-coverage foundation). I've also successfully used it to remove my mascara (be careful not to get it in your eyes). In the mornings, I use just a drop of cleanser on my T-zone so as not to make my skin too dry. I have also used this cleanser as a body wash and it left my skin clean and soft without feeling stripped or coated. The 946 ml bottle will last for quite a while. Might be worth purchasing a smaller bottle to see how you like it before committing to the larger one. As others have commented, the cleanser is very watery and it can be difficult to avoid wasting it. I've worked around this by making a small hole in the inner seal to control product flow. I'd recommend this cleanser to anyone looking for a gentle, natural cleanser for their oily, acne prone or combination skin.

I have to say I wasn't expecting much, was hopeful because of the reviews but you never know do you? Well I do now! This must be the world's best kept secret. It's fantastic! My skin has never felt so clean and soft. It's lovely, it really is. You can detect the scent of tea tree but the other ingredients ensure it isn't harsh and drying. Just love this and for the price, well incredible. LOVE IT and will definitely be buying more - also bought the moisturiser - equally good. If you've got combi skin that's a nightmare I think this might be the answer. Going to try it for 2 weeks and I'll come back and leave another review to let you know how it's going. It's now been some months since I originally reviewed this product and I haven't changed my mind. I've bought several bottles now and I will continue to do so. Simply put it's the best.

I have blepharitis and this product is excellent. Thanks to it I have almost no need for the expensive wipes I had been using before. It's a great face wash and combined with heated linseed eye packs and my daily omega 3, I have my condition under control! I use the wash in the morning and evening and the eye packs (10 min.) once or twice a day. I make the microwavable eye packs (needle, thread, cotton socks and linseed is all you need - 1 min or 2 in the microwave - don't overheat!). I still like to keep Cliradex wipes on hand. They are convenient when you're out and about but I find with the solution above I'm using them less and less. Finally, an affordable way to treat the horrible symptoms of blepharitis!!

I've been using this wash for many years - so glad to have found it in the large size (I decant into a smaller pump bottle for the bathroom). It's the perfect face/body wash - leaves skin feeling clean but not dry or tight and any breakouts of spots clear up super fast. My teen daughter has definitely benefited with her skin by using this.. Best face wash and even better is that it's all natural products and kinds to animals - a winner! :-)

This is a very natural product, it is very water in consistency, best to put it in a smaller container with a pump. It lathers well, be careful around the eyes as it stings. I use this with my clarisonic, it is effective and cleans the skin well (squeaky). You have to use for around a month to see results properly. It also improved the acne on my back and chest. It can get quite drying so moisturising is a must. Apart from all that, this is also very effective in cleaning makeup brushes, makeup residues come off almost instantly, especially foundation in brushes that do not come off as quick using only baby shampoo or makeup brush cleaners. This is good value for money, such a huge bottle it will last a WHILE!

Brilliant product, scores a zero (perfect!) on toxicity cosmetics database. All natural and highly effective cleanser with Tea tree oil and its excellent anti-pathogenic properties. Have been using this in California for four years and used it as my everything soap in the jungle for a year. Saved me from getting fungal infections! Ordering it to use now in the UK. I would really like to give this facial wash 4.5 stars. It is an amazing facial wash that I would give 10 out of 10. The one problem with this size is that there is no pump dispenser. I would quite happily pay an extra 2 or 3 pounds to have this included. One very minor quibble is that the facial wash is very runny, almost watery like so you have to be careful.

Been using this for years not just for the face but the whole body and its fantastic. i have oily acne prone skin and this product has helped tremendously for it. I recommend this especially if you are health conscious and want an all natural product for your skin.

Been using for decades. Very effective and astringent. A little goes a long way, as it foams better than others, but not an incredible amount. That can lead to applying too much, then having to wash longer thereby risking dry skin. I find using it in a foaming pump dispenses the proper amount. I have oily skin, but also sensitive to drying. I find this formula great. I can omit moisturizer after using and my face won't peel off from dryness. It can build up after awhile and gum up dispensers. And if you over tighten the cap on this bottle it will crack. Have had that happen half a dozen times. Too thin or cheap plastic. DE you can do better. I've grown to enjoy the smell, though in reality tea tree is a bit noxious. This is no fault of the product. And the it's not heavily perfumed. But also not fragrance-free. I do wish they offered different fragrances, like mint or gentle herbals. But the tea tree is the secret to the magic, so I guess it'll do.

Best soap ever

je connaissais déjà le produit avant de l'acheter en grand format. Il nettoie parfaitement la peau sans la faire "criser". L'odeur est neutre Il n'est pas testé sur les animaux et le prix reste correcte.
