There were some 1 star reviews which made me almost not buy this. But I took a chance I didn't find the product as some of those reviews said. I still have to use it for a month or so to see if it is durable. I wish I could post more pictures.

I really like these stands. I have two now. The major advantage is that they don't need much floor space. The tiny footprint means they can sit easily in the smallest if studios so you don't feel any need to fold them.up znd store them away. The first one I bought- years ago now - only had a 5/8" thread but this one has the smaller thread which makes it twice as useful!

Awful in every possible way: Rusty thread at base. Rusty thread at head. Rusty pole. Incorrect adapter (or mic head). Damaged packaging. All I needed was a cheap stand to put a calibration mic on for my IK Multimedia ARC system setup. 30mins use, tops. This isn't currently capable of doing that! Do yourself a favour and spend a little more: it will save you so much hassle. Additional Edit: As to the enclosed card concerning the Warranty Extension ... well, you'll be lucky if the Tiger website stays up for more than a few seconds. Every third or fourth click - as well as the aforementioned warranty page - does not resolve, it merely times out (tested via an iPhone on 5G, an iPad, a desktop PC and laptop all on high-speed fibre with mesh Wi-Fi - it's NOT the connectivity, as every other site is super-fast and reliable).

Easy to set up, screw stand to base then screw mic holder to top of stand. The stand height adjustment has a nice feel and good quality. Bought this for our home karaoke set up and it’s perfect. If you’re a gigging musician and need a straight stand, this will do a job no problem.

Looks sturdy and reliable. Its just about heavy enough to hold large diaphragm mics and would be more than adequate for holding an SM58/ dynamic mics for live.

It was bought to replace a stand whose quick release seemed to play up when handled by the performers. While this is a slower twist action, it does at least work as expected when in front of an audience. The chrome gives more pazazz under stage lighting and seems quite hardwearing up to now. Otherwise the whole thing is sturdy and stable, I replace the microphone clips with my own choice, but having spares is always useful. Perfect for my needs.

Ist sehr stabil da der Teil am Boden sehr schwer ist. Mit dem Gewinde kann man Studiomikrofone wie bei mir mein Samsung G-Track einfach daran montieren und natürlich ist das auch mit einer Spinne möglich. Ich kann dieses Produkt nur weiter empfehlen und von der Größe her ist es auch sehr gut verstellbar. Einen Minuspunkt hat es jedoch da das Plastik-Teil, das ansich zum befestigen des Mikrofonkabels verwendet wird (im Bild bei der unteren Hälfte der Stange, das schwarze Teil), durch den Transport abgebrochen ist. Ich schätze mal, dass dies durch das Gewicht des Ständers kaputtgegeangen ist. Man kann den Mikrofon-Ständer aber trotzdem ausgezeichnet benutzen also 5 Sterne! :)
