Proraso Shaving Cream Tube - Sensitive

Really impressed. A well-used blade just whizzed over smoothly and just shaved really close. Love the smell. It did leave my skin a bit dry though.

The best shaving cream on the market. If there was 10 stars I would give it that. I bought the for my husband years ago after lots and lots of research to find a great product. He loves it, it lasts for ages and is very natural, gives a super smooth shave. Smalls great

This is the one with the most pleasing and unoffensive scent, it's gentlest on my skin and it's OK value for money too. I have sensitive skin and a very coarse beard. I use Feather blades with a Merkur 39C (or sometimes a 23C or a progress or one or two other bars). Edit 25/8/2025: The last two tubes I have are a bit more watery than it used to be, and the price has gone up, so a bit less excited now... About 1 inch of cream per shave, out of the tube and it lathers beautifully in my bowl. I would really like to prefer some of the higher end stuff, and have used TOBS (loads of em), the other Prorasos, Trumper, Castle Forbes, Gentleman's face care club - you name it. But none of them quite tick all the boxes as well as this one does. Maybe they should put it in a posh tub and charge four times the price (no....please don't!)

I’ve been going through the entire proraso range having recently swapping to a traditional safety razor. These are much nicer than foam/gel from the supermarket. I’ll be honest, this has been my least favourite sent, but it’s not bad. I gave it to my father and he seemed happy with it. I would say I have sensitive skin, but not had any problems with the non-sensitive products, so can’t say if this is any better. For the price, it’s worth trying.

One of my regular rotations within my many soaps and creams that I use while shaving. Can always rely on a good shave while using this cream and would highly recommend it.

Smells fresh like lemmons or even limes . Lathers very well , i face lather and found it to be thick and creamy using my shaving brush. I noticed a lack of reddnes on my face also less irritation. Would recommend the cream soap and i will buy again when ive finished this tube.

Really great stuff and essential if you are using a dual blade razor. Fluff this up with a good brush, spread on your family plums before you shave and your tackle will be as smooth as a dolphins nose. Great on your face too. (Wash the razor first!)

These things tend to be a bit subjective and buying a tube can be a pain because if you aren't all that excited by the smell, for example, do you chuck it away, or do you put up with it and remember not to buy it again? For me, Proraso makes my favourite shaving products, but that might just be because my only other experience has been Gillette and Nivea (which aren't all that bad, don't get me wrong). I've used Gillette shaving foam since I started shaving my head at 15 years old. It never occurred to me to try something else, because it did what I needed it to. This shaving cream does everything Gillette does, except it smells amazing, in my opinion. And that's all there is to it. Maybe there's yet more shaving cream/foam I haven't discovered that smells even better, or just different in a nice way. All I know is, for now Proraso is my favourite shaving range and I'm not going back to Gillette until further notice.
