Worked very well. I checked a few reviews before buying this product as some people talked about the bayonet parts not fitting properly for some of the converter products and this one seemed to have the best reviews. They feel like good quality, and it was a good fit on both sides. Update: I am dropping the score to 4 stars. I moved to a new house and cannot fit these converters to any of the light sockets, the narrow part at the top is just too short and so the converter just becomes wedged and the prongs won't lift high enough to go into the light socket. Although it only worked in one out of two houses, it was still only 83p including postage, so I don't feel I can drop the score too much.

Slotted into light fitting perfectly & our new fan/light combination was up & running within minutes of delivery. No problems at all with installation & no adverse effects of fuses blowing, as described by other reviews. Grateful for the next day delivery that means this ceiling fan may help with sleep in the extremely hot weather we are experiencing at the moment.

Purchased x 2 after ceiling fan/light supplier failed to supply, as per their offer, but as they’ve failed to respond I just got on replacing (Bad supplier was Sunny-Bee and will never use again). These work and am perfectly happy with them.

This is the third such B22 to E27 adapter that I have purchased this year, after YKS Socket Light Bulb Lamp B22 to E27 Holder Adapter Plug Extender Lampholder and LAMP LIGHT SOCKET CONVERTER BAYONET B22-E27 SCREW . If you are contemplating which one to buy, then this skytronic one is at least as good as (and probably better than) the other two. It feels and looks well made, marginally better than the other two. The E27 bulb screws into the adapter easily as you would expect, doesn't rattle around and lights up when you flick the switch. There is no hint of any flickering. This adapter works, is reliable and doesn't look likely to fall apart any time soon. It is long, being about 6.5cm from end to end and weighs around 14 grams. For certain types of light socket, a longer adapter may be essential, although for me it's not an issue. Extremely good and would recommend.

This item would not fit in one of three sockets I tried. Of the other two, it was a bit of a push but it did locate in the bayonet receptacles and turn home with some effort. Fortunately, it fitted in the socket I needed it to work in. A good price, if you are prepared to take a chance it might not fit.

Does what it needed to do perfectly, convert my UK lamps to run in the USA

It is what it says it is. Works fine. I had to remove the existing shroud tho to make it fit the socket so now have the black boyonet visible.
