Even the baked on tomato passata from the Calzones just wiped off with kitchen towel. I've always bought decent quality kitchenware, and the roasting tin replaces my Mermaid brand tin (which I thought was supposed to be the best, and which at £35 was twice the Le Creuset price) but which weekly left me seething as I yet again tried to chisel my joint and roast potatoes out of it. I had already bought their cast iron griddle and that was great. Luckily I picked this up in a sale and I'm thoroughly impressed. Forget all these cheap non stick products covered in unsafe and questionable chemical materials. My goose fat roast potatoes have never cooked so well and taste amazing. I also cook a Moroccan Chicken recipe a lot and with my old tin the baked on black residue would be a pain to clean off. With this tin you don't even need to soak it nor do you need an abrasive sponge. Just a sponge and soapy water is all you need. I always think that buy cheap and buy twice! I reckon this will last in an excess of a decade easily with the correct care - probably longer.
