Bought this for a second hand wheel on turbo trainer that had a rusty skewer. Works as intended however is likely heavier than most skewers on modern bikes so if the turbo isn't being used for a while would recomend switching back to the original.

Very pleased with the skewer, fits nicely in the back wheel of my mountain bike. My husband was impressed with the price, he paid much more for his!

My Boardman Road comp came with a quick release rear skewer that was flat ended so it would not allow the bike to be used in a turbo trainer during the winter months. This Tacx Quick Release Rear Skewer was the perfect solution. It took only a minute to whip our the old skewer and put this one in its place. Job done. Perfect.

Simple, does the job. Bit expensive for what it is.

As expected from Tacx this is a perfect fit for my trainer. You can get away with some skewers more than others and I must admit the one I had been using on my trainer seemed to hold everything steady....BUT, it was not until I stupidly lost a spring on my existing skewer and decided to try the Tacx that I realised what a difference it could make. This thing holds my bike like concrete, the difference is almost measurable in minutes on some of my longer sessions (80Km +) I obviously had a lot of unnoticed sideways play on the rear of the bike before, were as now all of the motion is in the direction I require.

I purchased this to use on my turbo trainer as it has enough end thickness to slot into the wheel mount. Well priced and does the job nicely.

Commandé car je n'ai plus l'axe de mon Élite Tuo et le Quick release de mon Sensium 3.0 risque de s'abîmer. Posé à la place de l'axe d'origine de ma jante Shimano il s'adapte parfaitement. Pourquoi commander un axe Elite à 35€ quand celui-ci fait parfaitement le job ...

Ich habe mir einen Rollentrainer von Tacx gebraucht gekauft um endlich dem Radfahren näher zu kommen und einen Ausgleich bzw eine Ergänzung zum Laufen zu haben. Die Schnellspannachse war nicht dabei, also schnell beo Amazon geschaut, bestellt und einen Tag später in Rad und Rollentrainer eingebracht - jetzt läuft's! Verarbeitung ist sauber, passt problemlos im Rollentrainer (haben 2, Schatz hatte auch schon einen von Tacx, Achse ist bei beiden kompatibel), Preis ist klein - 5☆

I recently purchased a used Wahoo Kickr Snap indoor trainer and my quick release would not fit. As I searched for a replacement, I found it was highly recommended to not use the standard quick release on indoor trainers. For a reasonable price, this fit perfectly and I'm able to ride indoors without issue.
