Gorilla quality (100 record case).
Not sure if I would fully trust the strength of the hinges if I were planning on carrying my record collection about ( they are the same size as on the lesser-sized cases), but as I am not planning on doing that on a regular basis, I am more than satisfied with the quality of this item. It is well-finished and sturdy, and I feel that it gives my vinyl good protection. The butterfly clip locking mechanism appears to be secure, and for those who may be wondering how it operates it is simplicity itself. Rotating the handle one way engages the mechanism, while rotating it the other releases it, and the mechanism itself appears to be robust. As with all Gorilla cases, I like the fact that the lids detach to give ready access to my records.Not the cheapest of flight cases, but they look smart and do the business very efficiently indeed. Given the current price of vinyl, a good and protective case is important.

Great item. Big and strong. The only very minor down side is that it will be really heavy when full. That probably means I should stop buying records... like that's going to happen!

It seems ok at first look
It looks ok, and does exactly what it is supposed to do. Whether it is tough enough to take many hard knocks and bangs only time will tell, but that does not really matter to me as it will remain fairly static in the house under a side table where my record deck is. The side panels not being aluminium but plastic do however make me wonder what the longevity of these panels will be as most plastics become brittle with age or deteriorate due to light exposure, again only time will tell.
