Great alternative to fabric conditioner!
I've ditched the chemical-filled fabric conditioners in favour of good old soda crystals! This large bag will see me through the endless washing. Makes towels lovely and soft without using harsh chemicals. Verstaile too - as I've used it on a hot wash to clean my washing machine. Great value for money. It does come in a plastic bag and can clump together so to avoid spillages I did decanter into a sealed box which makes it easier to use. Otherwise I think I'd have had soda crystals spilt all inside the cupboard. Will definitely be buying again.

The perfect cleaning combination
If you know you know. Cheap washing up liquid. 20% vinegar. Soda crystals. Combine them all and you get the most effective house hold cleaner available. You can throw the rest away. We use it in washing machines as well, but mostly mixing with vinegar.

Brilliant crystals..
These soda crystals are excellent for an array of jobs I use for cleaning cookers on the hob, and the inside ovens, plus my Ninja air fryer. Ultimately though I put a fair amount in my washing machine on a 90 degree wash, and removes all the smells, debris and better than Calgon type cleaners Very versatile, gets stains from fabrics and clothes, cleans spoons up and I am in a hard water area so use to clean my kettle. I only knocked one star off because of the way this is packaged. I did mention this to customer service. Arrived loose in a huge cardboard box. I bought three Ikg bags. Usually when I buy, all three would be taped together, these weren’t and one bag had spilt all over my other monthly’s I have on subscribe and save. Amazon refunded me, I never asked them too, I just wanted all bags in a plastic bags so no movement in transit, hopefully next time will be better. All in all a great and a decent price so will continue to buy if the price is right. ⭐️Thank you to the sem ⭐️I hope my review helps

OK
Bought on the recommendation of a friend but I'm not as blown away by them as she seemed to be. I've even signed up for their email updates and have followed some of their ideas but results were a bit meh! I've used the whole pack and won't bother buying any more.

Universal cleaner
Old fashioned washing crystals are a universal cleaner and degreaser. Add them to a washing machine to both help remove organic stains and clean the machine. The crystals are brilliant for cleaning tannin stained teapots and will clean up stained pans - although avoid aluminium as it can mark. They are good for removing the build up of grease and stains on non-stick surfaces, fill the pan and let it soak, while a strong solution will wipe off grease from hobs, enamel or glass. Soak pan supports in a solution and wipe the inside of an oven and wipe off after an our or so. The crystals even kill moss, mould and algae. Old fashioned, effective and cheap.

Works very well; worth the effort if your shipment arrives as a solid block instead of crystals.
I was bothered that the product arrived as a solid block inside the bag, instead of as the lovely crystals I saw on a YouTube video about them. Nearly decided to send it back but went online again and learned that you can run warm water over the block and get a usable solution. So I put the block in a sturdy plastic re-sealable kitchen bin, ran some water over it and used the solution on a sponge to clean my glass teapot. I am SO sorry I didn't take before and after photos. I didn't because I was sure it wouldn't work like the video; nothing ever does for me. But this time it did. My glass teapot wasn't just tinted a yellowish-brown; it actually had a film all along the inside from years of black tea and rooibos. I could immediately see a brown color in the milky white solution and a marked clearing of the glass after just one washing. A second washing got rid of the rest of the tint, and I did a third to make sure nothing else was coming off in the solution. I also used the solution on a thin brush wand i could push through the spout, with the same dramatic effect. From a yellow glass teapot to a perfectly clear glass teapot. Just one bit of advice: soda IS caustic, after all, so gloves should probably be worn. I'm a guy in my early 60s and no one cares what ANY part of me looks like, so some roughening and reddening of my hands during use doesn't really matter. But if you care about your hands more than I do, wear gloves.
