I've tried and consumed various brands of mayonnaise over the years, but this Asian made Kewpie mayo is something different. I'm not sure what flavourings Kewpie uses to make their mayonnaise stand out, but I much prefer theirs to any other mayonnaise I've ever had. Other mayonnaise tastes bland in comparison. There is something about Kewpie's mayonnaise that makes it taste creamier and, well, just better than any other. Because of the price, I use less of this mayonnaise and only for 'special' meals. If I don't need the mayo to stand out, I use a regular brand; if I want that extra flavour, I use Kewpie's mayonnaise. Sounds silly, but this is the one mayo I like to savour.

Get the made in Japan one!
Be aware that there is a considerable difference in taste between the original Kewpie made in Japan and the new version manufactured in Poland, which tastes awful, which recipe has been changed to satisfy the USA market. Get the the real original recipe one.

Es sieht und schmeckt anders als die „Western“-Mayonnaisen! Die Farbe ist gelblicher und der Geschmack ist viel intensiver und trotzdem nicht so „fettig“. Einfach nur klasse! Nur der Preis ist zwar bisschen hoch, aber sie ist es letztendlich wert, weil man kann halt leider nicht in normalen Asian-Märkten kaufen!! Das Produkt kam auch voll schnell an! Bin zufrieden:)

Desde que fui a Japón y la probé allí no paro de pedirla por aquí para seguir saboreando este manjar de los dioses.

Ich kenne viele in- und ausländische Majonaisen und wollte aufgrund der guten Bewertungen auch einmal diese probieren. Um es kurz zu machen: das war nichts. Die Majo ist sehr cremig, aber viel zu sauer. Außer Säure kaum Geschmack. Dafür ist dieser Preis viiiel zu teuer. Für viel weniger bekomme ich die erheblich bessere Jean Bâton Mayonaise (Holland, France oder Trüffel) oder die Van TON Franse Majoneis. Das ist Genuss, aber die japanische ist ihr Geld nicht wert!
