We kept our wine for a party which was within 1 month- making sure bottles were cleaned properly so no bacteria turns wine off. It was all fine

What is the alcohol content of this wine

The kit says that it is around 11%ABV though you can make it stronger by adding less water. Hope that helps

Can I use my own grown grapes

Hi RebeccaProbably not, as it wouldn't enhance the already perfect balance of flavour, and carefully calculated system of fermentation, and might actually interfere and damage the process. Why not look for recipes online, and do a separate grape and e.g. elderberry wine in a one gallon bottle, rather than risk spoiling the 5 gallons of assuredly excellent wine.
