great gloves
short version - they are lightweight, comfortable, and I like them. Good grip from the leather. Fit snugly but don't cut off the circulation to the fingers at all, at least not mine, because the nomex knit is very stretchy. Long version - I bought these as flying gloves, because all of the nomex military flying gloves I found had marginal reviews, and no proof that they were made to any sort of standard. So these aren't rated as racing gloves as I understand it, but are made as a lighter version of the rated gloves, out of the same type of material. Anyway, these are close fitting enough to let me work all of the major controls of an airplane without taking them off, which is a great advantage in a plane with little heat. They will sometimes let you run a touch screen display...it just depends. They are by no means designed as winter gloves, but that's what I'm wearing them as, because regular winter gloves wouldn't give me the dexterity I need, and most regular winter gloves are made of plastic. I'm not looking to have a fire, but if I do, I don't want my gloves to burn and melt into my hands. These may not offer much protection, but they shouldn't cause any extra damage. downside? they're kind of goofy looking, to me.

Overall amazing driving gloves for a reasonable price
Fit perfectly, have amazing grip, and they feel great. Perfect for a track day when your hands would get really sweaty and it would become hard to grip the steering wheel.

Great for high performance track driving
I recently got into high performance driving clubs with my car. The first two times I took my car (to Pocono Raceway) had completely different weather conditions. The first time the weather started cool in the morning but quickly heated up by mid afternoon. This caused my hands to be quite sweaty. The second time I went, it poured rain for the first half of the day. On top of that, it was pretty cold. Having cold fingers while driving at speeds greater then 130 MPH isn't exactly 'fun'. At first I wasn't sure if I should get single or dual layer gloves. Not really knowing how they would be different, I went ahead and bought the single layer gloves. They completely solve the cold/sweaty situation that I was having the first couple of times I went out. They're thick enough that they keep your hands warm, but don't seem to be too thick to retain heat. I believe it's the Nomex material that allows them to breath and prevent significant sweating. The leather palm provides excellent grip on the steering wheel. My car has a typical leather stitching steering wheel, but nothing really that fancy. For those that take their car to the track on the weekends or a few times a year, I would highly recommend these gloves. It's just one less thing you have to worry about when you're driving at high speeds. This allowed my to put more focus on my technique and to be more comfortable.

solid starter gloves, for the money
wonderful starter gloves for occasional use. Plenty comfortable and protective, given the cost. I'll be looking for inverted stitching for my next set.

Good for iRacing sim racing
I use these gloves for sim racing (iRacing), and I am happy with them. Good value. The gloves are a bit thinner than I expected, but it’s probably a normal amount of thickness. And, if the gloves were any thicker, it would be harder to feel some of the buttons and knobs on my wheel. Without gloves, I used to get blisters on both of my hands after prolonged use of my direct drive wheel base / wheel. I’ve had only one blister since I started using these gloves a few months ago.

Great budget-friendly option!
For the price, these are great gloves for amateur racers. The stitching has held up well over time - they have not fallen apart - even though I have been using them for years.
