Rayners Essentials Malt Extract 340g

As expected perfect

Havn't tried it yet, don't like bad reviews, but a little aesthetics goes a long way. The outside of the jar was sticky, and the packaging was sticky. Had to check the seal to make sure it had not been tampered with. Would I buy it again? I don't know. Disappointed in the packaging of this product, concerned that to look at it wasn't sealed. Pressed the lid and there was no pop so I know it was sealed, but it doesn't give you confidence to buy again. You can see it wasn't leaking, into the main box, it was well wrapped in bubble wrap, and sticky, the jar is sealed, its just sticky all over the label, which washed off with a wet cloth. I am not sure of its health benefits, or its value for money until I have tried it, have no clue of the quality will try a spoonful in my hot milk tonight, if I can get it open.

Nice but it doesent taste like I did when I was a kid. But that's probably down to taste buds. Good product

This is what my Grandmother who was I would say poor my Grandad worked hard till late 70 to provide for us & me I was a sick child but a teaspoon of milk was so good now I found that taste memory & hope it helps my immune system I will be taking for rest of my life Memory & taste is perfect Ty, no not all taste same this is perfect

Used this product to make a malt loaf. Incredible taste and a great culinary success. Will buy again as quick delivery and great value for money.

Arrived packed well in a box but when opening I was presented with a sticky mess. Over half of the liquid had leaked into the plastic bubble wrap but I can’t see how as the lid was on the jar with a plastic seal. Ended up with only half and the solids at that so not sure this is even usable. No option to return so won’t be buying again. Very poor. Can’t comment on taste as i don’t want to risk using it!!

Some sourdough breads require adding sugary extracts to the preferment. This malt extract is an excellent choice for that (aside from other potential uses). It does not alter the taste, and provides great nutrition for the fermentation bacteria.

J'ai acheté ce malt qui est un peu plus cher mais qui ne contient pas de sucre, uniquement du Barley Malt extract. Pour une fois qu'un produit est pur! Et comme ça vous pouvez l'utiliser pour combiner avec ce que vous voulez. Ca donne un gout de malt parfait, dans un chocolat ou dans une glace. Je recommande.

Lo utilizo para hacer pan. Para que la fermenación del mismo se lleve a cabo con estos azúcares que contine el extracto de malta. Cumple con su cometido, además aporta un sabor al pan inconfundible, aunque no se note de donde procede, sabores afrutados como pasa con la cerveza.
