I bought this for my elderly father. The design of his small bedroom leaves no space to place a bedside table/lamp. However, on an average night, he needs get up to go to the bathroom a couple of times. I have placed this on a cabinet near the foot of his bed. When he sits up in bed this soft light comes on which gives him time to get to the hallway light switch. When he returns, this light comes back on and he can safely make his way back to bed. It's very easy to set up via the three modes: 'ON' (permanent light), 'OFF' - or the mode I use which is 'AUTO' (PIR & motion sensor activated). It uses 3x AA batteries, I generally use GP Ultra alkaline batteries because they are reliable, long-lasting, reasonably priced and available on Amazon. Another safety feature worth mentioning is that the body and lampshade is made of plastic - so nothing to worry about if it gets knocked over. Incidentally, my father has been using this light for nearly twelve months now and it has worked perfectly. It's a product which I unreservedly recommend.

I quite like this PIR wireless Motion Sensor Lamp which gives off a warm glow when activated.We have placed it on a hall table and use it to light our way to the bathroom during the nightthus avoiding having to turn on the main hall light. It is made from plastic, the base has achrome effect look and whilst it is inexpensive it looks quite stylish too.You simply insert 3 AA size batteries into the base unit and set it to Auto for it to work. AnInstruction Manual is included but it is very easy to operate even without instructions.It is not advisable to use by the bedside as every time you turn over or move in your sleepthe light will come on and perhaps wake you up.It comes into what I would call the 'cheap and cheerful' category but it does exactly what itwas made to do. A good product.

I have this night light in my upstairs hallway, it does a good job, I amhappy with it. When it is dark and I move near the light, it will comeon, as the sensor detects your movement. It keeps a good light for along time, I have not had to change it up too often. I am very happywith my purchase of this very good night light, it has been a goodbuy. I would recommend it to family and friends.

If you're a parent, this is a great little lamp for night time nappy changes! Mellow enough to keep baby feeling snoozy if she is asleep when I go to change her nappy, but enough to see everything by. Portable and good size so can put it in the corner of changing table without it being in the way. Has an 'auto' function which means you can leave it on this setting and it turns on when there is movement nearby, turns off when you leave the room. Quite handy but occasionally fails to notice movement and so turns off half way through a change! But a wave will quickly turn it back on.Otherwise has a nice look for general home use and the warm light creates a warm atmosphere. Recommend!

Excellent light, I use it in my hallway as I didn't have any sockets for a light. Recommended

Bought this light few weeks ago. I’ve put it in daughter’s bedroom and it works well for me. Automatically turns on when I walk into her room at night to check on her or when she wakes up. Needs 3x AA batteries and lasts long. Light weight, very easy to use, has three functions, on, off and sensor. Sensor only works in dark place, hence it turns off in response to day light or when the mainlight is on. From bright warm light it changes to dim light if used for long hours. Sensor is very sensitive and can catch a motion in a wide range. Works far more better than it looks! Would buy another one for my bathroom. Highly recommended!
