Amazing!
I purchased this a while back for my friend's 9 year old son and he really enjoyed it so I decided to get it for my son for his 6th birthday. The bricks, trowel and different pieces are tiny, they are very cute and the little one instantly loved it (as did the adults). The instructions are pretty straightforward. I found the ratio given for the cement mix made it difficult as it was too runny so added some extra powder which helped. It's really sticky and when it dries its solid. My 6 yo enjoyed mixing the cement and putting it onto the bricks, he had a go at building but found it was a bit hard for him. It's great that the cement dissolves in water so any extra on the bricks can be polished off easily. I bought an extra pack in case we wanted to build something different at a later date. After all the hard work the finished house looks amazing, we filled the little garden with sand and a few nice stones from the garden. One very happy boy. I would recommend this for children or adults, younger children will need some help but it's good fun. I will be ordering more sets but might wait a few years.

The best thing to build
You can sit there and take as long as you want with it to make it look ugly and it would still look better than your real house. Best thing to build and I bought another house from there brand because it is so good and easy.

Very good
Bought for an 8 year old who loves crafting and making things. Sadly this didn’t hold her interest at all (reason for dropping one star) which was really surprising. It is good quality and it’s good that you can deconstruct and use it again.

Exciting and Great Value for Money
The box arrived. It’s a good size. It has everything we need to make a little house from bricks & mortar. My 6 year old is interested in Lego and wooden blocks. The beach house is the next level for real hands-on experience of construction at a child’s level in my opinion. He will need help making this and I love that because we can do it together. I have a feeling this will be his favourite toy of Christmas. It’s already mine!

Great gift!
Absolutely brilliant gift for my six year old grandson who throughly enjoyed this with guidance from his dad on Christmas Day. He built to his own design but the beauty of it is he can start all over again if he chooses.. though I think he wants to keep his masterpiece:) highly recommend!

Brilliant .
I've always fancied having a go at brick laying so I brought this and built a small house in the comfort of my living room . I now feel more confident to have a go at building my extension on the side of my house all thanks to this little building set .

A fiddly job, but very satisfying
I was really drawn to this brand because I've not seen anything quite like this style of construction toy.You get a large box stuffed full of tiny proper bricks, a bag of cement mix, a little dish for mixing the cement in and a little trowel, as well as directions for building two designs (shown on box cover), but of course you could design your own building. It is really fun, mixing the cement and using the little trowel to put the cement on and lay the bricks. It is very fiddly though to get them straight and I don't feel I could leave my six-year-old to get on with it on his own, so it's definitely an activity to do together at his age. I don't mind that because it is really fun. You need to use quite a lot of cement to get the bricks to set properly, and once they do set they are really well stuck. They don't come apart at all. (The instructions say you just pop the bricks into water to wash the cement off and you can start afresh with clean bricks. We haven't got to that point yet - we are still in process of first build.)The cement takes a few hours to dry and until it does it is easy to accidentally knock the bricks out of position, so we tend to do a small section, or one level, and then leave it overnight to set before starting the next layer. It does feel nice to come back to the set bricks the next day and continue though, and we're taking great care over it.Really fun, if you want a gradually evolving activity with your child.
