This is a nice sized steamer pan. I steam a lot of foods and bought this to replace another pan. The pan is very thin but functions well. I have only had this for a very short time and I'm already seeing little dots of rust on the outside.

I bought this pot to make Moroccan couscous the hand rather than instant way. It's important that steam doesn't leak out the sides of the pot but goes straight up to the couscous. I had my doubts but, this pot did it! The bottom is large enuf to cook 4 thighs along with a good portion of all the traditional vegetables. I am delighted with this pot and highly recommend it.

It appears well built and does the job advertised. It’s not very heavy and the base is not very thick. After one wash in the dishwasher, brown spots appeared on the steamer and pot. I returned it.
