Yes, it works!
I used to foam-roll my legs only to help prevent lower back pain, and always relied on physiotherapy for spots I thought I could not reach properly, like the area between the shoulder blades. As soon as you get the hang of this roller (look for the instructional videos online), you are able to work the muscles quite deep, without bruising the spine. It's quite tricky to achieve that using a single or even a double lacrosse ball. For me, it did help reduce the visits to the physio, so I can confidently say that it more than paid for itself. If you need to release your back muscles, this roller will do the trick. I wouldn't bother using it for anything else - get a standard roller for your hamstrings etc.

Gets to all the right spots
If you need a roller that gets into each side of the spine this is it.

Fantastic foam roller
Fantastic foam roller. It was recommended to me by my pilates instructor and it really helps massage areas that are difficult to get to with other foam rollers.

Not bad
I use this for my back, it's not bad but I have replaced it with a flat roller.
