This hole-punch is the business!
It's not cheap, but this is one of those products where you get what you pay for. If you want something that will punch holes right through a magazine (with heavy duty plastic cover attached) like a hot knife through butter, this is the piece of kit you need. I wasted time and money buying smaller kit that wasn't up for the task, before I decided to go all out for this. I'd already used one in the office for years, so I knew it would be perfect.

Robust and effective 2 hole punch for medium thickness documents/manuals.
Puts holes in thicker manuals and documents a treat. Supplied with spare cutters but not the pads (but has a storage hole in base for both of these). Its OTT (and quite bulky) for the odd single sheet or two, but if you have to file manuals, brochures and the like then its great.

Don’t touch this product with a barge pole, paper punches break like match sticks!
Don’t touch this product with a barge pole, it reviews are very accurate the punches break very easily and cost an arm and a leg to replace. Amazon will not assist in complaint that the description include spare “punches and plates”, which are not supplied. No reply from either Amazon or Caboodle Office Supplies after 7 days, despite 48 hrs guaranteed.

Very good but the 'eco' is pointless
Rapesco products are generally cheap and of decent quality. This product follows the trend, with the standard version retailing at £65. This white 'Eco' version is exactly the same except it has recycled plastic. The price difference is currently £50, which is ridiculous. I would advise you to get the cheaper version and give £10 to a recycling charity, it will have much more positive effect than the small amount of recycled plastic in this item. This is an easy to use device, and the mechanism is very efficient. Punching through a couple of dozen pages is little effort, and if you want to go through ten times that you only have to use a normal amount of force. It goes through every time, no need to make two or three goes like some smaller punches. The blades have stayed sharp for a long time and I don't expect to replace them soon. The only thing I dislike about this is the colour, but obviously in a white office is might not look so out of place.

GREAT PRODUCT
I took a risk buying this product but it is very good it is a bit expenisve but worth the cost. The only downside is that sometimes the 2nd hole does not punch the hole way but it is not a big feal because once you press it down again it does it. Excellent product I highly recommend it.

It's OK, but not as good or - more importantly - as robust as the 2200 model it replaced. The first one I received was faulty and I had to return it for a replacement. (Amazon's returns system is excellent.)Also, the cutters and discs are different and are not interchangeable with those of the older model.Unfortunately, there doesn't appear to be a reasonably priced alternative.
