Touchscreen so easy to use! No need for a manual!
I bought a Headrush pedal board last Christmas and have been really impressed by the ease of use and functionality of the unit. It’s so easy to dial in a sound. It’s not fizzy at all, the sound has a real body to it and it sounds very organic like the valve amps it intending to model. Combining two different amps together and running it in stereo with two cabs gives the best results but it also sounds good through a flat valve head and cabinet. It’s really versatile and exceptionally good value for money, built like a tank and so edit whilst playing with your feet. What’s not to like? Only issue I had was a USB issue when my MacBook failed to identify it when plugged in. Returned to Headrush for repair took 2 1/2 weeks to get it fixed and I was without the unit for this amount of time. If you’re gigging just make sure you have a backup something! Since it’s been fixed I’ve read that the unit doesn’t like phantom power from a mixing desk into the XLR inputs. Phantom power blockers can be bought easily online and I’ll be using these in future. Don’t want another USB problem out of warranty! Perhaps if this is the case Headrush should build protection into their units or include these in the box? I’d defiantly recommend buying one though as they sound and play amazingly well!
