The book touches on the very interesting history of this style of Copperplate Calligraphy which is simply beautiful! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Clear and succinct guide

A clear and easy-to-follow guide to copperplate. It is 'dated' (published in 1989) in the sense that there's no links to web video showing copperplate in action. It would also be nice to be able to buy this book as part of a 'kit' which included the right pen, nibs, printed guide sheets and the correct ink. Copperplate is a lost art and while there are some video clips on the web the quality is mixed - some folk have a strange idea of what copperplate is! This seemed a good start for the beginner but advice from a real-life tutor would be beneficial - if you can find one.
