PowerA Officially Licensed Mains Powered DualShock 4 Charging Dock (with AC Adaptor) (PS4)

Very good product.. Recommend.

I bought this dock along with a second DualShock 4 controller so that I wouldn't have to charge my controller(s) during gameplay. The dock is powered by an AC adapter (included) and plugs into the underside of the base. The cable was long enough to reach from the mains supply on the left of my TV whilst this dock sits on the right of my TV. The dock itself holds two DualShock 4 controllers and charges the controllers from the port next to the microphone, in between the two analogue sticks. You place a controller on the dock and firmly push down on the fixture which slots the plug into the controller followed by an audible click. The LED on the controller will glow orange which indicates that it is charging. When the LED is no longer lit, your controller is fully charged thus drawing no further current from the device. Once charging is complete you can click the fixture again to release the controller. An extra USB to USB-micro is included for whatever reason; it has no purpose for the dock but can be used to charge your controller from the PlayStation. The dock seems sturdy and works as intended.

This is a very good charging dock for charging multiple PS4 controllers from a single device. It is also a really nice stand for the controllers when not in use. The controllers fit comfortably into the dock with a little push and the charging time is reasonable. For a Sony PS4 licenced product, it does feel a little cheaper than expected, but it works well on the whole and for the price this can be overlooked.

First thought review. Product looks great, box looks good quality (and has instructions/warranty booklet). I put both controllers in to charge and both charge, unsure if both at the same time(like My PS5 one). Controllers click into the mount, and the mount is springy so pops out OK and both controllers sit in without falling out. Overall very happy with product.

DS4 has a common issue that the USB port stops charging anymore. The port gets bent, and even though you can play wired, it often refuses to charge unless you keep the cable in a precise position. This neat charger uses the EXT port which is more rugged, and bypasses Sony's shoddy USB charger. My controller is 9 years old and in perfect condition aside from the USB port. Thanks to this charger I can keep using it.

Great option to charge both controllers at same time without the need to fiddle with wires and plugs. Charges via the underside of the controller rather than the micro USB B that has started to get a bit wobbly and inconsistent when trying to charge. Should prolong the life of the controller and also mean more likely to not forget to charge as you can click them in if tidying at the end of the day. Good purchas and ridiculously cheap in Black Friday sale.

Excellent. Charges both controllers as it says in the description. It even powers down on one side if that controller is fully charged which is a great touch. This is also a really good stand for the controllers. The controllers fit in nicely into the dock. However, they can easily be removed with little force and this isn't a negative - I'd hate to put a lot of force to remove them. It's really simple to use. You just push the controller down and you hear a click as the plate covering the charger port goes down. If you have a Nintendo Switch then it's very similar to how the dock works. I'd recommend holding the controller with your thumb/index finger on the touch pad and then the other finger of those two just behind where the regular charging port is on the top. Then you just put it into the dock and you're good to go!

My DS4 gamepad has always had problems with charging via the micro usb in the back of the controller. Eventually it became so bad, I simply couldn't handle it anymore. A friend of mine reccomended I buy this, and lord I am happy I did. It uses a different charging mechanism from the micro usb, instead going in via the port near where the headphone jack is- and get this, it works like a dream. It charges fast, waay faster than my micro usb did in its prime. It also stays nice and secure while charging, so you can leave it be while you do other things. The only downside I can possibly think of is that you can't realistically use a controller while it is charging using this device, but that is fairly obvious by the design. I also can't say how useful it would be for you if you still are able to use the micro usb option, but if not this might be your savior.

Un sistema de lo más sencillo. Además, ocupa poco espacio. Lo único, el cable viene con enchufe británico, por lo que hace falta adaptador.

Para ser un cargador y soporte lo veo un poco caro, pero al menos es práctico para tener los mandos recogidos y no estar tirado en la mesa.

No hay manera de que cargue la batería del mando de la play 4, simplemente n9 funciona.
