Busy Farm: A Push, Pull, Slide Book (Campbell Busy Books, 4)

We had received a book previously from the same publisher and our littlest one absolutely loved it so we decided to purchase this. She absolutely loves animals so this seemed like a good choice. The interactive elements help improve her cognitive and motor skills . The book is well made and robust, so is perfect for little enquiring fingers. I like the wholeheartedness of the product, it's so bright and colourful and has become a bedtime favourite in our house.

My 20 month old daughter has had this for 6 months and it is still one of her favourites. Each page has something to turn or slide. Lots of details in the pictures and we are still spotting new things now. Not much of a story, just a couple lines on each page, which is fine for her age and it allows me to make up my own story. We lost the book on holiday and I had to buy another when we got back as she loves it so much.

We love this book The illustrations as nice and bright. The roll tabs keep my son entertained and surprised with what changes whilst looking at the book. Easy for him to do himself as well as turning the pages. Recommended

My granddaughters of 13 and 19 months like this book and the others in the set but have trouble moving the movable parts. The movable parts, which push, pull and turn tend to be a bit stiff for little fingers until the book becomes well used. There are few words in this book, and I realise it is a talk-about book and the reader provides the story for the child. It has bright and busy artwork and is enjoyed by my granddaughters but it is not loved as much as 'No bed without Ted'.

Great birthday present, bought for a two year old, would recommend.

We absolutely love these busy books! My 10 month old loves working out how to move the pages and she has anger favourite ones, it it lovely. What’s really great is it would be very hard for them to damage them like baby’s can with a flap book.

Lovely book. Bright, colourful, handbag sized and sturdy enough to survive the rigours of a 13 month old boy. The moving parts are chunky and substantial; they won't break easily or tear like the lift-the-flaps books we have which are all now held together with sellotape! My son absolutely loves it and he's already got the hang of moving several of the parts. A total hit!

My twins were given 2 of these books when they were younger. They have always loved them but had pretty much pulled them apart as they were young and did it to all their books. Now they're slightly older and love to actually look at the pictures and words they love them even more (the pages that are left haha) so decided I wanted to get them new ones for christmas that they will hopefully look after. This one looks just as good as the others we've had and I know they're going to love looking for all the animals :)

子供が生まれる前に買って、小さい時から読み聞かせたりしていますが、1歳になった今では、仕掛けの動きに興味津々です。触って動かすところと、実際に動物たちが動く場所が繋がっていることがまだわからず、一生懸命に動物の絵に触れて、自分で動かそうとします。 この絵本が気に入ったようで、本棚からよく自分で引っ張り出してきては、眺めています。 色や柄も明るくて可愛らしいです。 ページ数は決して多くありませんが、仕掛けや絵の内容、文章が読んでいる子供にネズミや子猫を探すように問いかけるので、物足りなさは感じていません。 同じシリーズで別のボードブックも買いました。

Encantada con el descuento y el reparto. El libro es lo que expectaba. La nina de 10 meses lo mire y usa las ruedas. Solo que a la primera pagina la primera vez tuve miedo de los dos animales que salian!! Por 3,5 euros el precio es fenomenal. Los libros similares que habia comprado antes eran mas de 10 euros. Es bueno como primer libro para conocer los animales.

I bought this book for my grandkids...12 mo & 8 months. Initially I will have to do most of the sliding features...but I know they are going to love the surprises at the turn of each page. Very good quality

we love these books - so much so that we ended up buying a total of 4 (farm, fire station, pets, park). each page has something for the kid to move / turn / pull and hence is engaging. we don't really follow the story, but the graphics on each page are bright and bold, making it fun to play games like find the animal / object / shape / colors etc. it really helps the kids with their quiet time and both the 1.5yo and 2.5 yo are very nicely engaged with them. the build of the books is sturdy and has withstood the punishing use by 1.5yo destructive hands. overall highly recommended. the push / pull / move activities on some of the pages are a little tough - maybe due to excessive gluing - but repeated use has taken care of that.

This is a fun book, our daughter loves to move the different pieces and see what pops up or is revealed.
