This is a great inexpensive way of adding an extra 8 outputs. Unbalanced phonos out . Solid build. Sounds good.

The low latency and sound of this ASIO box is truly incredible. I've bought several devices over the years for my set-up but this arrived today and embarrassed everything else.The stereo field is really wide, low frequencies are deep and not muddy. Trebles are crisp and smooth and reverbs sound epic. Obviously the quality of the artist's work is variable but most modern things sound great.One thing though.. the customizable settings of the control box software (accessible from the PC task bar) resets itself every single time the computer reboots or the USB is detached. This is hugely annoying since the default volume setting is maximum. I've been painfully reminded several times to lower the output volume and the Gigaport is very loud!! They really should address this with a driver update. It's a simple flaw but could potentially prove quite dangerous to your hearing.

Have used the original gigaport & the Maya USB44 before. Definitely a better sound from this & a lot more of a kick from it. Detachable USB cable which is good as the last one seemed to give trouble..

much improved sound and surround. works perfect with Cubase 7. would recommend. only haggle was price changed daily on this not sure why.

Annoyingly the unit only can do 44.1kHz in 8 Channel on the Mac (in can do 6 channel 48kHz under windows) - this is a major step down from the previous models which could do 48kHz. Yes it can do do 24bit but when frequency is important this might be a deciding factor if you use under the MacOS.The build quality is good and it's a nice small unit but I'm annoyed the makers haven't written a driver or a KEXT to give the option of 6 channel 48kHz under Mac OS.

I play live worship music using Ableton and MainStage to run (key/synth sounds, 4 channels of stems/loops, and click). I've been looking for an audio interface that is small, light weight (for travel), and still have up to 8 output channels. My current interface is a focusrite clarett 8pre and is super heavy to carry through airports etc... So this fulfills all my needs perfectly and is easy setup (plug and play) no extra software needed I bought the 8 channel Rosa RCA to 1/4" snake and boom it rocks! It does not have any inputs so if your goal is to record or run an extra instrument through you won't be able to. Last thing, I love the simplicity of it - there are 8 lights on the front of it that represent each channel and they light up when there is signal coming to their respective channel which makes setup and/or troubleshooting much easier. Love it

La utilizo para pinchar en Ableton Live porlo que necesitaba una tarjeta con varias salidas transportable y de gran calidad, ya que el warping de Albeton lo requiere. He probado con varias y esta es la única de poco tamaño que no distorsionaba el audio al procesar. Estoy encantado.

Ho acquistato questa interfaccia USB2 per l'utilizzo in installazioni multimediali. Installata su Windows 10 senza problemi. Consuma una quantità irrisoria di corrente (funziona anche su hub non alimentati se ci si limita a collegare all'hub solo un Arduino e un mouse).I canali disponibili sono:- 8 @ 44.1 kHz 16 bit- 6 @ 44.1 kHz 24 bit- 6 @ 48 kHz 24 bit- 2 @ 96 kHz 24 bitUnico avvertimento: per l'utilizzo con Max/MSP, PureData e simili è necessario usare i driver ASIO4ALL perchè i driver ASIO inclusi non garantiscono il mapping di tutti e 8 i canali.

ich habe meine gekauft nach viele, aber viele gegoogelt. ich nutzt die Ligaport in meine MacBook Pro 2011, den Computer AUX macht viele statische klangen, die sind einfach eine Kombination von Hardware und Software gegründet. Alternative war immer eine externes Sound Card. gibt es tausend Möglichkeiten auf den Markt.dieses Gigaport hat die Probleme gelöst und noch weiter Klang Qualität mitgebracht. erst brauch man keine CD oder Traben installieren, nur USB Stecker verschliessen und voilá ... die Gigaport gib an uns auch ein paar Einstellungen als Möglichkeit, ich nutze nur die Stereo Ausgang, aber ist möglich bis 8 Lautsprecher einkoppeln und alle bekannte Kombination anwenden, bis 7.1Ton Qualität - SUPER
