STRONG gear puller really works well
Amazon forced me to rate this as a TOY. It is anything but. I bought this puller specifically to remove the pulley from used stepper motors. They were impossible with the tools I had or even those I made. However, this puller really did the job. It came with two different puller shafts, each with two different sized ends to match different motor shafts. It came with two different bases, to fit the different shafts, too. The only thing it DIDN'T have is the 1.5mm hex wrench needed to change the shaft or tighten the top. I bent the first shaft that was in it upon arrival but was too small for my job, before I broke down and bought the wrench to change it. My pulleys were tough. No lesser puller would have worked. I'm very satisfied.

Great tool.
After several unsuccessful attempts to remove a gear without a tool I purchased this unit. It worked flawlessly. I should have bought to start with. Seller was responsive and easy to work with, also. I had an issue changing pins and they provided some tips that proved very helpful.

A bit fiddly, but does work and is certainly strong, well designed, and well manufactured.
Comes with 4 pin/driver sizes, but only two base plates, and while the 3rd-largest pin fit my motor shaft perfectly, my gear just BARELY worked with the larger of the two plates - it really wanted to slip off the edge and make the whole rig crooked. A channel size in between the two provided baseplates would have been perfect and made everything a bit easier. It's also pretty fiddly trying to get the plates leveled/perfectly parallel with each other with the 3 machine screws. If the plates aren't parallel, the driver doesn't plunge down perfectly straight, which means it just slips off the shaft, and/or will get bent as you apply real pressure. You will need a very small allen/hex key to change the driver. The 3 adjustment screws (and associated lock nuts) I just adjusted by hand, which was fine, especially since you'll need to very, very carefully and minutely tweak them as you get everything lined up just so. All those complaints aside... it worked great. I'm sure there are worse gear pullers out there. I used this to change a dramatically worn pinion gear on the servo motor that drives the filament into my 3D printer (MakerGear M2).

Power wheels motor
Pulled the drive gear off of a power wheels motor. I had to get it started with some taps from a hammer. But after that the puller finished the job. It is a large motor and there may have been some glue used. Seems like a good quality puller.

Not as precise as it should be
On the plus side this gear puller is built like a tank and seems to be good quality. My problem with it is the relative loose fit of the puller stem. Although the various points that fit into the puller shaft are securely held with a set screw, the puller screw itself has a lot of play, so much that when trying to press the axle out of an HO scale locomotive wheel, the presser point keeps moving and slipping off the axle. After several tries and nearly damaging the wheel I gave up and put this puller back in the drawer to be reserved for less precise work.

Good Gear Puller for Small Pinion Gears
Got this to remove a pinion gear on a drill motor. Removal of the motor drive gear was required before installing an upgrade gearbox kit with a larger pinion gear on the drive motor. I was little concerned about the lower plate with the slot that being if it would hold up to the pressure but this little puller is tough. The only problem was making sure that the three screws with locking nuts were all adjusted to the same approximate height to insure the center shaft was aligned as straight as possible on the motor shaft so it would pull the gear straight up and not at an angle. Ended up using a caliper to measure the distance between the upper and lower plates at each of the three screws then setting the nuts to lock everything into possession. Average declination was 003 - 007. This is not a problem with the puller as that is how it is designed to work. The gear was really hard to remove. I had to use a rag on the handle to keep from hurting my hand. Plus to this puller is that it comes with two center shafts that have a different size on each end so you get four pullers in one. The plate with the large slot fit the shaft on the motor perfectly and was centered exactly. If you need a tool like this be sure and measure the shaft size of whatever you have with calipers. I was at the limit of the largest size.

Stay away from this product!
Bought TWO of these pieces of crap because the first one's set screw was so tight that I couldn't switch sizes out. Bought the second one figuring the first one was just poorly made. Apparently they are ALL poorly made. Can't seem to find a contact address to try to get this $60 screw up fixed!
