Review: A good effective product - Autoglym Leather Cleaner, 500ml Bought for my mum her car has leather seats and while the previous owner did a good job in maintaining the condition of the seats all round there were a few area where some dirt and stubborn stains were present of which this cleaner did a good job in removing. I felt this left a natural finish behind once applied which worked pretty much straight away. It was simple to apply just simple spray into a microfibre cloh or a leather brush then agitate gently. I would say that the leather brush works better as its able to clean in area's like around the stitching of the seat whereas the microfibre cloth just doesn't isn't able to get into the smaller pockets of the stitching. If your looking to use the Autogylm balm after cleaning the leather then this is crucial step that you don't want to rush you need to make sure you get all the area otherwise you do notice the missed patches. When spraying the bottle a little goes a long way as you don't need much solution to get a desired finish. Like the balm this left a faint scent it isn't powerful at all its literally faint but you do smell something its not a bad smell at all its nothing unpleasant. I didn't really need to go over the area more than twice however, this can be applied again if the area is still needed to be cleaned. Overall another great product from Autoglym, I would say this and the balm complement each other very well and if on offer its worth a try.

**Q: can it be used with a Mr. Clean Sponge?**
A: If your referring to the "magic eraser" type products, that are made of Melamine, then I would say No.
Melamine contains no chemicals but despite it's appearance and texture it is exceptionally abrasive (hence why they are so good at cleaning) using this with chemicals could cause it to break down in a strange get way, also using it on any interior or exterior areas of a vehicle would be a bad idea and could lead to permanent damage to leather or vinyl finishes and definitely to paintwork or painted trim pieces.
This product should be applied with a microfiber or chamois, and then removed with a damp microfiber.

**Q: For shipping purposes, can anyone confirm if this has flammable ingredients or not?**
A: I ordered this product recently . Has no flammable substances. It shipped without any problems

**Q: Can it be used on a leather sofa or just leather in cars?**
A: Yes! You can use this product on any leather. I also use it on a large leather living room chair Cleans very well.

**Q: Is this product coated leather friendly**
A: It's made for coated leather which is what most cars have. If you are driving a Rolls or another car with natural leather buy the kit from Connolly.

Took a bit of work as you have to rinse it off several times, although that may have been because I used more than I should have. Anyway bottom line: I'm happy with the results. I dont think my car's leather seats have been cleaned even once in the last 10 years and the seats look much cleaner. Didnt manage to get some stains out though.
