I spilt blue ink on my favourite leggings, so I dyed them blue to cover over the ink - you couldn’t tell that they were ever cream or had the ink stain on them!

Bought this to dye a short dress, thin long sleeve top and short skirt. There was enough dye for all three although it was a bit of effort to do as I had to split over two saucepans to have room to swirl them around. Time consuming and expensive and I probably won't do it again unless it's to save something I really love. Clean up any spills straight away as I had a bit of a panic trying to get the blue stains out my white cooker but it eventually came off after a lot of various cleaning products.

Rit dyemore is a very good product and works very well. Dye is in general an unknown quantity and how well it works depends on the fabric dyed, the quantity of the fabric and its original colour. If the fabric is coated or is of certain fibres even a synthetic dye will not penetrate it. This is not the fault of the product but the item being dyed. I have used numerous dyes on various fabrics and this dye works well on polyester and viscose.

Achieved a very vibrant blue on our formerly baby pink pram hood, followed instructions exactly used a large stainless steel stock pot on the hob and boiled for 40 minutes but 30 probably would have been fine.

Great product which dyes items with ease, however my experience teach me to check a colour chart first as dying a pink jumper turned it a dark purple rather than blue.

I bought this to dye a dress. I managed to dye a blazer too as I had some dye left over. I did it in an old slow cooker as I didn't have a pan big enough. Worked fine.

I bought this specific 'Synthetic' version to dye synthetic hair. As Youtubers have shown the great results they got. So, I done a test strand by boiling hot water and tried it in different ways; on the stove so the temp reached a really hot temp to allow the dye to penetrate and also with hot water poured in a tinting bowl, but the Kanekolon hair which had a base colour of mid light brown (30), did not dye at all. I will just use the bottle if for my faded out Blue clothing instead.

Ich nutze das Färbemittel um mein Hochzeitskleid einzufärben, damit ich es als normales Kleid Anziehen kann. Mein Hochzeitskleid ist ein einfaches Kleid, welches fast komplett aus Polyester besteht. Ich habe es genau nach Anleitung gefärbt (es gibt extra YouTube Videos vom Hersteller): - das Kleid erst mit Seife warm gewaschen - in der Zeit genügend Wasser in einem großen Topf erhitzt bis es fast kocht. - die halbe Flasche Färbemittel (laut Hersteller reicht eine Flasche für 1kg Stoff, mein Kleid wiegt 500 Gramm) plus etwas Spülmittel in den Topf, anschließend das Kleid hinein. - jetzt ist es wichtig, die ersten 10 Minuten fast ständig zu rühren, bei mittlerer Hitze, damit sich die Farbe gut verteilt. - nach knapp 20 Minuten habe ich das Kleid herausgeholt, warm ausgespült bis das Wasser klar wurde. Danach im Kurzprogramm in der Waschmaschine kurz gewaschen. Das Ergebnis ist wirklich super, mir gefällt es sehr gut! Ich würde es jederzeit wieder bestellen 🙂

La tintura fa quanto promesso, il risultato finale dipende dal colore di partenza e dalla capacità di assorbimento del materiale oltre che dalla quantità di colore utilizzato. Ho seguito le istruzioni fornite (in inglese), il processo è abbastanza lungo ma dà ottimi risultati. Consiglio di usare guanti e mascherina e areare il locale perché l'odore è piuttosto forte.

Working wonders, used it on a dress 👗 it worked great! Color was beautiful. Gloves recommended, it stains. Very easy to use!
