Safe & Sound Pop-Open 7 Day Pill Box

I purchased this product after trying a few other pill boxes and this is by far the best I have used. The product is well made and the opening and closing mechanism is a little white push button which pops open the lid of the box, perfect for anyone with dexterity issues. The daily boxes are quite deep and I can fit several pills inside each compartment. I use this for my vitamins, as keeping them in a "daily" pill box, reminds me to take them, means that I can easily pop a day box or a couple of days in my bag if I need to take them on the go. I found with out a pill box, I would sometimes take my tablet from the packet and then forget and go to take another one later in the day, not so serious with my soluble vitamins but could be a real problem if you were to overdose on medication. A pill-box really helps with this. The boxes are all different colours and connect together via groves on the side of each box. They are extremely easy to fasten together and to take apart. This pill box is extremely good value, functions well, and looks attractive. I imagine that the days of the week will fade in time, as this has already started to happen on one of my days, but overall this doesn't effect the function and if it does fade off entirely with washing and use, I plan to use a sharpie marker to write them on again. I have seen similar products retail in chemists from £7 onwards. And this one is still a superior product.

Good product, especially like that you can pop off days so if going away for the weekend we can just take tablets for those days and leave the rest at home. Has helped massively with remembering to take tablets and the bright colour acts as a visual reminder too.

Easy to use for pill preparation, I can fit multiple pills in each box. Easy to open and close.

Received this item today with Amazon Prime, so delivery was fast. The product came in packaging seen in the picture above and is like described. What I like about this pill box compared to others is the 'pop open' button, it makes opening the tabs so much easier as all you need to is push the white button on the side and the tab for that day opens up with no problems. One of the reasons I bought this item was because of the detachable days. I often go away a few days out of the month and hate taking all my different medications in a bag, so this way I can put them in a pill box and they're all in one place and I only need to take the days I will be away instead of taking a whole weeks worth of pills. I read a few reviews saying that the days of the week do wear off in time, but that wasn't really a big issue for me as I could just use a sharpie and write the letter on the top if that does happen with time. For the price of the item, I think it is very good product and does a lot more than the normal pill boxes that retail for around £7 in my local chemist.

The media could not be loaded. Overall this feels like a decent product. The push button has a nice movement to it, it doesn't feel like it will fail too quickly, and the lid hinges also have a bit of thickness and don't feel flimsy. I saw some reviews that said the writing isn't very good, and I'm inclined to agree on that point though and suspect it may wear off over time. But I can always add new labels. The slots that link boxes together are nice and smooth, easy to divide and fit back together, and although I'm not sure several of them would stay together very well, it's perfect for me to be able to grab the right day to throw in my lunchbox and leave the rest hung on a hook in the kitchen. I would buy this again if I needed to

Useful and practical

An easy to use pill box with easy push button open which seems sturdy enough to last. I also like the fact you can take individual days off so if travelling only for a few days it's great. When getting the pills out of the compartment they don't get stuck in the corners as it has an easy slope that the tablet(s) will slide up. I also like the fact that you can rearrange the days as my dosage changes so when I refill the pods I can align it from today (see photos). The colours are nice and bright which just adds a little variation to what can be a boring thing and as you change the days around you don't get 'blind' to it and overlook it. The only minor downside I would say is that if it's on an uneven surface (such as half on/half off a raised surface) the pods can dislodge from each other when you press one side to say close the lid. But good for people who have limited mobility in their hands. Maybe a little too easy to open if there are young children around and that is the only reason I gave it a 4/5 for security.

I take 7 pills every morning and trying to get my brain into gear first thing every morning working out how many of each pill was becoming a real pain and taking up more time than it should. This is amazing, so simple. The colours are nice and bright and it's a push button to open so there's no faffing about trying to open fiddly boxes. For me its perfect and does what I need and it does take a fair amount of tablets, however it's not suitable for people who take doses throughout the day as there is only one compartment for each day, also they are slotted together so if you put the week or a couple of days in your bag they will disconnect with each other. This is mainly to save you the hassle of getting all your tablets in the morning it's not designed well enough for ensuring elderly or someone with dementia takes their meds as it would be confusing if they break apart and I think the could easily open in a bag.
