Natural Agate Bookends – Polished Crystal Geode – Real Stone Slice Pair for Book Shelves & Desk Decor

The media could not be loaded. Lovely bookends that I bought to use as ornaments to go with an Agate slice I already have. From the listing photo I was expecting more of a brown outer but as every piece is uniquely individual I’m not bothered. They really are beautiful up close, I want to buy more but have nowhere to put them… yet… lol. Arrived well packaged and great value.

I liked the mineral it was nicely prepared and there's a but coming, I was slightly disappointed with the size you look at the item photo and expect it to be a little larger in real life. This is why I have not given full marks even though its a nice piece.

... else it will be too late to return it. (Mine was intended as a gift; so it remained unwrapped for too long.) Turned out to be garbage. NOTHING like the attractive example illustrated online to tempt purchase. Unattractive monochrome piece of rock cut in half - with a chip knocked out of one of the facing edges, presumably during inexpert polishing. I was a bit skeptical due to the reviews. Knowing each rock is completely different, I decided to take a risk and buy them. Mine are beautiful!! I got the natural colour and I love it, they work well for the books I have.

The bookends are ok but smaller than I was expecting and not as pretty as the photos. Luckily I have a small number of light books as I don’t think they are heavy enough for much more.

Very pleased with the bookends. I don’t think they would cope with lots of heavy books but they’re more decorative than anything.Really pretty stone. I painted the outside gold which worked really well.My only gripe is that I didn’t get an email or a text to tell me that they’d been delivered to my local post office. But that is probably no fault of the seller.

I knew when I purchased this item that, based on the reviews, it would be a risk. For me, the risk did not pay off. The stone is fine, it looks okay. But I don't want an item that I think looks just 'okay'. It is not the colour or style that I wanted (or that is advertised) so I will be returning. I would not recommend buying this product from this seller. I've actually found a seller whereby I can see each individual item and choose a specific stone instead.
