Clubman After Shave Lotion 6.0z 170 ml

Old school barbershop fragrance. The opening is strong and intense, but within a few minutes it dries down into a lovely powdery oak moss scent. I like the smell of Clubman, but I use it for its antiseptic qualities, as it prevents razor burn from shaving.

This stuff has form. Don't be fooled by the plastic bottle (or the price)... Pinaud Clubman is one of the granddaddy fougeres and highly regarded juice. It's from the 'old school' when aftershaves typically had a little more kick, and so to a extent doubles as an understated cologne. It's not overpowering but will tend to hamper application of an EDT. On the other hand, it's perfect for mornings where you want to carry a discreet, clean and masculine scent with you. I'd bathe in this stuff if I could; considering that the smaller 177ml bottle lasts pretty much forever maybe I should! Rinaud Clubman aftershave !!I had heard about this from my Late Father, So when I saw it advertised just had to order a bottle!!!...It was much bigger than most 50ml and 100ml bottles, and did not disappoint Amazing value too The fragrance is strong subtle and long lasting....Highly recommend you buy some and get that wonderful aroma Thanks Dad for the memory, Thanks Amazon for selling it

This is the smell you used to get in barbers, slightly sweet, slightly musky a bit cheap maybe. I love it. Why? Because it has a warmth and muskiness and sweetness that lingers. Doesn't really sting when it goes on. OK, it's no upmarket EDT from Cartier or Guerlain but look at the price. Oh, and if you have no idea what an old fashioned Barber smells like, well you probably won't bother.

The scent isn't quite as good as I hoped and doesn't stay around for long after application. Feels good on application though and very refreshing and helps seal up any abrasions when shaving. Due to high alcohol content would not recommend for people with dry skin. Would look a lot better in a glass bottle, as the plastic looks really cheap and out of place with the classic shape and label.

This is really amazing. This makes me want to shave in the morning and I keep trying to find excuses to put some on. Also, while the smell is a bit intense at first, it becomes really comfortable in just 3-4 minutes, smells amazing and stays like that for hours!

If you are tired of using Axe and smelling like you just came back from an encore performance of the last Justin Bieber concert then you need this aftershave. THIS IS THE SENT OF PURE MAN! Many complain that the bottle is too small, and I would agree because I would bathe in this product if that were not illegal in all 50 states. The secret in the manufacturing process is rather amazing. Some believe that, and this is open for debate, that Chuck Norris cried one single tear in the distant past which was obviously the cause for the Big Bang. NASA and DARPA scientists collected an ancient frozen sample of this tear and found a way to replicate it in the lab. Clubman Pinaud is literally the purest form of Chuck Norris' tears known to man. There are some side effects in using this product on a regular basis, the #1 being the excessive hordes of women that you will be fending off upon leaving your house each morning. The second thing is that every time you open the bottle the lights go out and a beam of light shines down upon the bottle and angels begin to sing, which is not a problem for me however it wakes my wife up each morning and she is becoming frustrated, luckily once she smells my beautiful manly musk all is instantly forgiven!. The third is that the unicorn that appeared after my first bottle won't go away and he makes quite a mess in the apartment. Apart from that there is no reason you should not buy this! Behind all of the humor, the bottom line is that this is a quality product with a huge fan base. Think I'm exaggerating? Simply take note that this product has remained largely unchanged since its debut to the French market in 181o. It seems that in today's market a company's fear of stagnation, mixed with the often release of sub-par products, leads them to pushing a new product or fragrance before you can even finish your first product. I guess the team over at Clubman Pinaud recognize a good thing when they see one since their classic Clubman Pinaud After Shave Lotion has continuously been available for more than 200 years! Yes, I'd say they're onto something there! The fragrance is complex. When first applied it is aggressive and full bodied however after a few moments it reveals its classically recognized, old fashioned barbershop smell that will remind you of a time when men dressed and acted like men. Do not mistake my mentioning that the fragrance transitions in characteristics as suggesting that it subdues, it most certainly does not. The fragrance you get moments after application each morning is exactly what you will smell each night as you are brushing your teeth; a pure compliment as you will be continuously reminded throughout the day that you are a person who takes pride in their grooming and in their hygiene. Who should use this product? I will postulate and suspect that it is the same person who meticulously prepares their morning shave with an old fashioned straight or double sided safety razor. The person who takes care in mixing their own shaving cream and who appreciates the superior shave they could only enjoy with an old fashioned blade.
