Excellent little device. Useful for checking coax connections integrity as well as dish alignment. The in-built button compass however is useless; looks and works as well as something found in a xmas cracker and, I'm guessing here, would only show magnetic south (not true south) if it did work. Recommended to anyone who has a decent compass on their phone.

Its funny, after the storms I lost a lot of my channels, so I bought this to re align my dish and got NOTHING with it connected. Took it off, aligned the dish by eye and got everything back, put this back on the system and STILL got nothing!

Use ful and simple gadgetwould have given all fives but found the compas difficult to use but other than that all fine

So easy to use and it was pretty useful for setting up the satellite at my caravan for my televisions.

I would love to say this little cheap gadget helped me find my sky signal. But the only time it beeped the dish was about 60 degrees out. I only know this because I needed to get a sky engineer in to sort it out for me. Sadly it never worked for me but that isn’t to say it won’t work for others

Very impressed with the product! I moved my satellite dish as when a window was fully opened we lost sky TV totally.. I aimed the dish the best I could by eye but still no signal, ordered the product and turned up the next day with in minutes found the signal and got the sky TV back again. Purfect

Think you would need a better compass for precision alignment otherwise it's a good little meter

Useful for finding satellites when there are no near neighbours to gauge where they might be.
