HERCULES MSB001 Microphone Stand Bag

I was a little disconcerted to receive this bag folded up in a relatively small package, but fortunately it unravelled without ill effect. Having read previous reviews I was also wary of the clips on the shoulder strap, but I also noticed that such reviews were from over a year ago, so maybe the company has changed the spec in the meantime. Certainly the bag seems sturdy enough, and is roomy enough for everything I need to carry. I haven't really "tested" the shoulder strap properly yet so that remains to be seen but I think it will be OK. I love that the zip runs the entire length of the bag - so much easier than my previous (cheaper and different brand) that only had a partial zip. Not the cheapest bag but I like the sturdiness of Hercules' products and this lives up to that.

This case is super roomy & super strong. The Velcro retaining straps inside are very strong too, so that you can fix your mic stands etc inside so that they don’t fall about inside the bag & get damaged. I also like the bright yellow straps which makes the bag very easy to identify. Antoine who has gigged with other bands at the same event will appreciate that identification of your own kit is very important & not always easy in the darkness of the back of the stage or wherever you have to put all your stuff while performing.

Being a regular performance duo we need good quality, well made, roomy, and rugged bags for microphone stands, accesory stands and guitar and ukulele stands too. We've tried (and discarded) many bags - most of the ones we've tried in the past were just too floppy and awkward to handle when loading the gear for gigs.Being fans of Hercules stands we appreciate that spending a little more can sometimes yield good results. This bag is worth every penny (in fact, we've bought two). Heavy duty zips, expandable, and eye-catching too. Perfect for what we need.

Well made case, the shoulder strap isn’t though. The connectors parts are made of really cheap monkey metal and are very weak, not fit for purpose. How Hercules can expect these to last is way beyond me and poor show on their part.For the money it should be a lot better, I can buy cheap if I want to, this time I didn’t want to so thought the extra investment would protect me from cheap. Not the case.Shame really as everything else is pretty good.Update - I contacted the distributor for Hercules in the UK and they sent me a much better strap free of charge. So top stuff from them.

It’s great, just what I needed for my new stands. I like the fact there is a zip underneath that reveals an area that expands the case even further. I won’t be needing that for now and I won’t be using the shoulder strap either but who knows in the future. It’s a great purchase and I like the recently reduced price. The bag will live in my van. It will hold 2 speakers stands and 1 microphone stand.

After having numerous bags that continued to rip and break, I decided to go for the Hercules Bag to carry my speaker stands in.Upon arrival I could instantly tell that the quality of this bag was 10x better than the standard bags that stands come with. It can fit 4 stands comfortably thanks to the extended zip at the bottom which enables the bag to expand slighlty. The handles are very well made, along with a detachable shoulder strap too.Inside are velcro straps that you can tie the stands to, ensuring they are secure.The zips are strong and durable. All in all, the Hercules stand bag is definitely worth that extra bit of money!

Great bag, carrying upto 6 mic stands.

I love HERCULES stands and bags. They are simply the best you can get, period. Why only 4 stars then you ask? Well the bag is top class, with no faults at all. The carry strap is what lets it down, as the clasps on both ends cannot withstand the weight this bag will carry. I was going to return it, but seller, who was brilliant could only of sent me a replacement anyway, which would not of solved the issue. I simply bought better, sturdier clasps for a couple of quid, and got my local seamstress to sew them on. Job done, and the only issues I have ever had with any Hercules product. Don't let this little gripe put you off though, the bag is top top class and well worth the money.
