This was bought as a gift, along with an echo dot. Its goal was to link the two together, to get music from an old stereo that was made before Bluetooth was a thing. I have to say, this receiver worked absolutely brilliantly! It linked up easily to the dot, with no dropouts over three hours continuous usage.The beauty of this reciever against all others is that it doesn't keep linking with the dot after you've told it not to, like other reviewers have mentioned other ones doing.So if you're using it along with Alexa, it's awesome to be able to say "Alexa, put Bluetooth on" and then you access your prime music to come out perfectly through whichever speaker system you've hooked it up to! Then it's simply "Alexa, disconnect Bluetooth" and the sound then comes solely from the echos own speaker.I can't rate highly enough, for what it was bought to do.A very fairly priced, quality item. That does exactly what it said it would do.

I use this to stream music from my phone to my home HiFi amp. Firstly the build quality is excellent, the plastic is thick and strong, and the inputs are solid and I can't see them breaking through normal use.Connectivity is also excellent, it never fails to connect to my phone. The on/off function is very slightly annoying, i.e. to turn it on and off you have to press and hold the button for about 3 seconds. A minor niggle, but I would much prefer a dedicated on/off switch.Now to sound quality which I think is the most important bit. Let's remember that the final sound you hear is only as good as the weakest link in the system. As I'm streaming from Google Play Music, it's not the highest bitrate by far, so I'm already compromising quality. But I find the sound quality to be just as good (i.e. no noticable difference) playing through this compared to plugging my phone directly into the amp. As for latency, it is excellent, When watching youtube videos, there is absolutely no lag between the video and the sound. I have tried similar receivers to this and the latency was huge, to the point where watching films was a no-go because the person would speak and then half a second later the sound would come out!In summary, buy this one, it does everything really well.

Can now play DAB radio & Spotify through my 40 year old ghetto blaster! (make sure you have Phono RCA sockets). Sound is far better than I expected. Oh and it's nearly half the price of its branded competitor so what's not to like.

I've bought two of these and have been pleasantly surprised. It works as you would expect and is a great price. I'll acknowledge that there is a sound quality difference between equipment wired to the amp and equipment connected to the amp via a bluetooth receiver but if you weren't expecting that when you bought this, then you probably shouldn't be allowed your own money.

Very happy with my purchase. I wanted to convert my old amplifier speaker set up into wireless, so I can control my music via my android, and this works fine, I just paired it with the Bluetooth on my phone and plugged it into the aux socket at the back of my amplifier, then selected aux on the front - sounds the same as a wired connection. The battery lasted around 3 - 4 evenings of play, so just remember to recharge every couple of days.

Excellent product, works very well, easy to pair, great sound quality. I'm using it with iPhone 6+ and a Bose Wave system via the AUX port. I do like the USB charging cable being standard fit rather than something proprietary. (So I don't have to bin the receiver when I lose the cable... ;-) Only small irritation is that when turning it on, the light to show that's its 'on', is under your finger, so you can't see it... (Not worth knocking a star off as otherwise it behaves very well.)

This device works great and is easy to set up. My hifi (Soundstrom - SHFTPPH10) had a USB port so I was pleasantly surprised when it provided enough power for this Mpow BT adaptor. The sound is really clear and it's brought a new lease of life to my Soundstrom. I would definitely recommend getting this product to anyone who wants to listen to internet streaming apps for music, audio books, even the radio or any audio files you might have on local storage from a phone, tablet or laptop. Worth every penny. Well done Mpow!Update, I've also added an Amazon echo dot 2nd gen to this and it works a treat. Very happy with my hifi setup in the front room. This little Mpow device has enabled my family's many phones, tablets, laptops and now, echo device. etc to send sound through to the main hifi speakers. It sounds fantastic and I'm really pleased I bought it.

I can't believe this little box...plugged into my hifi and picks up my phone from opposite corner of the house. Sound quality as good as a direct cable to headphone jack... Simple to use and an absolute bargain....Also has rechargeable built in battery which I wasn't expecting...superb!
