Technoline WS 9632-IT Weather Station with cllock (manual setting)

Great product. Bought for my 7 year old who loves the weather. She checks the temp every morning to see whether she should wear her hat and scarf. The little man is a novelty, he has been wearing his winter woolies for a while but recently he has gone down to just a jacket. The umbrella is a nice touch if it is raining. Everything works fine, it was all easy to set up and we have the sensor in our storm porch where it seems fairly accurate. Its not always spot on but which weather forecast ever is???!

I have had mine for over a year now. On the whole I am very happy with my WS 9632 but there are two things that frustrate me a little. The main issue is this thing eat batteries alive even high quality batteries don't last more than a few months. When the batteries get low in the outside sensor or the main unit you lose the outside temp reading. The second problem is it is not the most user friendly device compared to modern devices. On the plus side I feel it is value for money, it is very clear to read and allows me to read from the over side of the room. Everyone in the family likes to be able to get a reading before heading out. If I was to get another one I might consider looking for one with an exterior humidity readout. This station is just perfect for the home, it is so good, I bought several last year for presents for those who have everything, and it was well received. The animation gives it that little extra dimension of fun even when it's the most severe weather. It lets you know how cold it is outside when you are in the warmth of your centrally heated home, provides humidity readings and indoor temperature. I can't be without mine, and I would highly recommend it.

Very nice in all respects EXCEPT: indoor and outdoor units take different battery sizes; as other reviewers have stated, my outdoor unit stopped working after less than 4 months and, despite going through the irritating reset process 3 times and carefully checking the batteries, I cannot bring it back to active service. The outdoor unit costs a fortune compared with the entire system and who wants to risk it when the thing stops working after the returns period is over. Requested some action from the manufacturer. No reply The outdoor temperature the MAIN reason to buy one of these units so now just junk.

Bought this for my husband. Looked at the reviews on here and bought one. The kids enjoy the feature of the man who dresses accordingly to how hot or cold it is outside. Also other symbols like a deck chair, sun, rain cloud with a brolly. Inside and Outside temperature is measured. Humidity reading and the date. Really happy with the product and simple to set up. Was an excellent price too. I shopped around first and read the reviews, so hope this has helped.

I already have an earlier more comprehensive model 9611, i think which has more features. However I was getting temporary loss of signal from the outside sensor so I decided to treat myself to this new one. I was a bit disappointed by the lack of features of the new one but nevertheless got it up and running very easily. I also got the old one working again and was therefore able to make comparisons. This has led to me finding that the new one does not seem to recognise the forecast rain we had today. The man's brolly came out on the old one before and during the downpour however the new one's man resolutely showed no umbrella during the wet period. Hmmm what does this mean? Les sensitive, faulty etc? I'll take out the batteries and start it up again and see what happens. The jury is hence out at the moment. Also, the illustration on Amazon shows an older, different outside sensor whereas the one supplied was different and did not have a base on which to free stand it or mount it virtically. This newer outside sensor can only be hung via a small screw on a wall or fence etc. As an addendum I would say the display could have been better designed with less real estate devoted to the time of day as that space would have been better devoted to the inside temperature, for example and the weather trend icon is too small.

The actual machine does what it does well. Basic machine; just outside and inside temperature and basic humidity and weather trend. We wanted it for Wetter Willie, who dresses according to the conditions. Sad, I know, but keeps us entertained waiting for him to get down to his Speedos, an event for which here in Scotland we may have to wait a while. The first of these we bought had a defective outside sensor and didn't work, but the replacement came in a couple of days and all is good. Update: the outside sensor now failed after 3 months, having been in a sheltered place, Will not buy technoline again

i purchased this as i have had others very similar, good design and very clear but the indoor display center has now stopped working so disappointed with purchase.

È il secondo che compro in 10 giorni e nessuno dei due trasmette la temperatura esterna!!! Ci deve essere qualche problema con il sensore esterno, perché ne ho avuto un altro per circa 6 anni ed ha sempre funzionato perfettamente. Dovrò renderlo. Aggiornamento recensione. Dopo svariate prove, cambi di batterie e reset e, finalmente funziona!!!! Credo ci fosse un problema di ricevimento segnale da satellite. Ora che è tutto risolto sono soddisfatta dell’acquisto e lo consiglio.

Einen Blick in die Bedienungsanleitung brauchte ich nicht. ••• Qualität ••• Die Qualität der Wetterstation gefällt mir sehr gut. Der Kunststoff ist sauber verarbeitet und weist keinerlei Fehler auf. Das Display ist gut ablesbar und sehr kontrastreich. Der Touchscreen reagiert sehr schnell und ich hatte bisher keine Probleme mit der Wetterstation. Anzeigen auf der Wetterstation: + Temperatur innen + Luftfeuchtigkeit innen + Temperatur außen (Außensensor) + Luftfeuchtigkeit außen (Außensensor) + Zeitanzeige + Datumsanzeige + Wettervorhersage durch Wettersituation (Bild) und Tendenz + Wettermännchen mit angesagter Kleidung :-) Die Wetterstation kann stehend oder hängend betrieben werden. Wir nutzen die Wetterstation mittlerweile im Haushalt und im Wohnmobil. Im Wohnmobil habe ich den Außensensor an einer geigneten Stelle außen festgeklebt und somit wissen wir auch schon morgens nach dem Aufwachen, wie die Temperatur draußen ist. Riktigt dåligt att man inte fick den som visas på bilden nu fick man en helt annan fjärrsändare måste därmed köpa AAA litium batteri en liten extra kostnad dessutom 433mhz i stället för 868 mhz riktigt dåligt

Ok we have had for sometime but as shown in photo a part cloudy but sunny and tells us we need umbrella or going to rain, far from it and I can you its not going to rain in the next 48 hours. Feel like we have been ripped off not up to the job it’s supposed to do. Disappointing
