Effective toothbrush
I’ve used HyG-ionic toothbrushes for years because they are so effective and leave my teeth feeling so clean that my dentist compliments me. For me these are better than an electric brush and don’t require charging. These are very difficult to find nowadays, but far better than another manufacturer’s similar version that has a smaller brush and doesn’t seem to leave teeth so clean. The battery seems to last ages, long after replacement brush heads have worn out. So whilst it seems expensive it actually lasts a long time. I like the fact that this comes with two replacement brush heads and a cover for the brush.

This was my first experience using an Ionic brush and it definitely left my teeth and gums looking and feeling cleaner than a manual brush. HOWEVER, after 2 months of use the brush head cracked in my mouth and a clump of double pronged plastic bristles came loose while brushing my teeth. Rather disastrously, this happened right at the back of my mouth and I swallowed at least one before I was able to retrieve them all. It was then stuck in my throat for a day and a half, causing me discomfort and concern. I hope it's going to pass through without any trouble! I will never use this brush again, all the replacement heads are the same and I can't risk that happening again. They aren't particularly robust so I suppose I shouldn't be surprised that it cracked. Be warned!

Safe and cleans well
I have been using an Ionic brush this for years as I have reactions to chemicals and smells. It cleans your teeth well- once you use one you will never want toothpaste again as you can feel the coating of the glycerin and other ingredients on your teeth. I bought one for my niece who has a sensitivity to sorbitol. She's 11 and there's no issues so far!

Old stock. Battery very low and won't last long but paid premium price for item. Very annoyed.
Very disappointed. The main unit shows battery does not have much life left. So I have paid a lot for a toothbrush that will not last very long. Can only assume this is old stock being sold off but I paid a premium price for it. Not happy at all.

This is an amazing brush. It does what it claims to-although the description this seller uses is not the best. I am not sure why this brush is not more available (amount of sellers). It used to retail for about £11, 3 years or so ago, so it's a steep rise in price, perhaps because the £ has dropped because of Brexit? The head attracts plaque because of opposite polarities (plaque on teeth being opposite to the brush filaments), as long as your fingers are wet holding the metal plate, which creates a subtle electric current. My dentist is impressed with how I clean my teeth. I use floss first, then brush with this Ionic brush. This brush is a lot better (as regards cleaning teeth-in my opinion) than the much more expensive electric toothbrushes around, including Oral B etc.
