Absolutely fantastic utility knife! Received by next-day delivery and I was highly impressed by the quality of the product! It comes in its own little display like box with the knife and sheath secured inside. The knife is a decent weight and is extremely sturdy so there is no risk of it falling apart anytime soon! The blade is a carbon steel blade and is already ground to an extremely sharp edge and is accompanied by a beautiful Beech handle with a smooth finish to it! Opinel is a fantastic brand that is definitely reliable and this is reflected in their products!Will definitely be expanding my Opinel collection soon!

Amazing knife especially for how cheap it is. Great for lightweight camping. Can use for food prep and for eating with. Nice secure collar to stop it from flicking open. Very sharp blade and easy to keep sharp too with a light sharpen and strop

I had been wanting an Opinel for a long time as I have heard such good things about them and I am so glad that I have finally bought this one. The number 8 is a good all round knife yet lightweight and simple. The case does feel a little cheap and I wouldn't want to rely on the belt loop but it does keep it safe and secure if you have it knocking about in the bottom of your rucksack. Arrived extremely sharp so just a quick strop every so often should ensure that it keeps it's edge. Extremely pleased!

The Opinel knife is a brilliant little light weight folding knife. I've misplaced my last one but like it so much I bought another. the locking ring makes it very safe preventing accidental opening or closing and comes very sharp straight out of the box. and this one comes with its own sheath.they are cheap and well worth a look at.they are not a heavy duty knife I wouldn't consider battening with it but feather sticks are possible definitely possible.

Absolutely in love with this little knife. I bought it as food prep knife while backpacking and it’s perfect for that. It’s not a knife your going to split wood with or anything like that. Though has been used well to make feather sticks. Very sharpe out of box

Great little knife. Took a while to arrive but it looks and feels well made and worth the money. My slight concern is in order to fix the blade you turn a segment. Already after a week in the woods it's tricky to twist due to natural dust dirt and grime getting into it. My concern is I won't be able to lock the blade into place making it dangerous to use. Also incredibly sharp.

Amazing knife. Bought this kiife to do carving and whittling with. Case is good quality and keeps the knife safe. Knife arrived super Sharp and has remained so with minor sharpening. Handle is nice to hold and makes the knife safer having the blade lock. This is a must have knife for anyone that needs to use a knife often. Perfect size for most jobs and not too big to carry around in your pocket safely. Am going to buy another

This was a gift, arrived in time. The knife is beautiful and the sheath is a very nice synthetic leather, good feel and weight to it with a small carabiner clip. The knife itself has a really good weight behind it with a wonderfully sharp blade. Good work french knife makers!
