EEZ-Y Compact Travel Umbrella w/Windproof Double Canopy Construction - Auto Open Close Button for One Handed Operation - Sturdy Portable and Lightweight for Easy Carry

So, I recently got my hands on this new umbrella. It's surprisingly sturdy and handled a pretty strong gust of wind without flipping inside out. The size is decent too, covers me well without being too bulky. I really like the color it came in. Overall, pretty happy with this purchase.

Umbrella canopy will turn Upside-Down only in Medium-Heavy to Heavy winds, definitely more resistant than normal umbrellas. Was working great for weeks, due to being compact enough that it would fit into my already packed backpack and automatically unfolding when the rain struck (which is often). Closing it is also easy; you need a bit of pressure but not so much that it's a strain. That was all until I opened it with a loose grip and the wind stole the umbrella right off me! Blew across the street and a car drove into it. Crippling one of the expanding arms. Probably won't get this again ONLY because I would like a wider, more curved umbrella.

The sturdiest brolly I've had. All the others I've tried have turned upside-down and broken very quickly in slightly windy weather, whereas this one has made it through two very windy winters. I'm sure it could make it through a third too, however it's become quite rusty so I'll be replacing it soon. It's a good size for me as it fits in my backpack and handbag, and perhaps it's a bit childish but pressing the button to open it will always kinda cool, and the kids love it. Its only downsides are that it is a little heavy, it has gone rusty (might be my fault for making no effort to let it dry out quickly), and you do have to push quite hard sometimes to push it back down again until it clicks.

I have had this umbrella 5 years and I live on the windy English coast. It is in perfect condition. Very strong. I used to go through one or two a year, but this is the best quality.

I couldn't be happier with my new Eez-y umbrella. It arrived within the specified delivery period and I received it in excellent condition. It was the colour I expected to and it was easy to register my purchase. Although it's windproof qualities haven't been tested to the full yet, I have used it in wet and windy conditions in southwest coastal England and have not been disappointed! The build and design of the umbrella is great. It does weigh a bit more than a basic compact umbrella, but I didn't expect anything less. However, it folds neatly a has an adjustable velcro strap to keep it in place and a cover to keep it from snagging on the other things in your bag. The one push open and close mechanism is positive in both directions, making it easy to put up and down with one hand. The extra spoke and stronger materials give confidence in it's windproof quality and the two overlapping layers of fabric have not reduced it's waterproof qualities. In summary, an excellent buy if you're looking for a quality windproof, single action open and close umbrella for those wet and windy days we so frequently get in the UK!

My daughter, for whom this was bought, raves about it. It’s lightweight(ish), very easy to put up and (almost as) easy to put down. As it’s only recently bought, I can’t say bout the longevity of the umbrella, but it seems to be very well made and, with the double canopy, it would appear to be robust enough for most situations. As with most umbrellas, if it’s a gale force wing with driven rain, just don’t use it as it won’t be able to keep off the rain and it could break.

These types of button release umbrellas are okay, but after a while they can get annoying. 1. to return the umbrella to a 'compact' size you literally have to push the umbrella and handle together and after several times of doing this it can become harder to push together. 2. I wish someone would change the design so that on pressing the 'close' button, the umbrella somehow retracts down to the compact size. Instead the push button on these type of umbrellas simply closes the canopy and to re-open the canopy you have to push the umbrella down along the handle as explained above. 3. I hurt my finger on one occasion when trying to perform the above action, as performing the 'close' operation has become very stiff. I knew that this type of umbrella would be annoying (as I have purchased these types before based on their ability to withstand bad weather). The main positive comment about this product is that it is very good to use when it is raining and windy at the same time. I will be contacting the company to see if I can get a replacement as they claim there is a lifetime warranty on the product.

Great compact quality umbrella but when I tried to register for the umbrella warranty, the website and email associated with the UK purchase is not active. Just hope that the umbrella doesn't have any manufacturing issues in the future as it'll be hard to contact anyone.

Veey poor quality not even lasted for 2 months...total waste of money

Performs exactly as promised. Well made, good open/close action, feels nice and solid, a good size for rushing along crowded city streets during a downpour. A little bulkier and heavier to pack than some of the alternatives, but handles wind better than anything I've had before.

Fit and finish of poor quality

Lo usiamo già da un po' e si è rivelato più resistente del previsto. Non ha fatto ruggine e il meccanismo dopo 1 anno e mezzo è ancora perfettamente funzionante. Regalato a mio figlio per la scuola . Consigliato
