**Q: is the string end of the 80 gauge tapered? the most ive been able to fit in the tuning pegs of my guitar is around a 70 gauge**
A: No, not as far as I'm aware. Ive never had a problem with getting the string through the hole of the tuning peg.
I'm pretty sure all sizes are standard and have more than enough room to get the string through. My Jackson SLAT 7 doesnt have a problem.

A: It's unlikely it would fit in. The 80 is pretty fat, I actually had to file the slot wider for it to fit in the bridge between the head and the neck

**Q: Can I use these strings on regular 6 string el. guitar? for example, the 74 for low tunings like F and G and 64, 52... for lighter tunings?**
A: Most ppl advise against it as the tension from the strings can warp the neck.You would be better off with a 7 string and just discarding high string, it's a safer bet.
