Great product.

I’m simply shocked that this brick can only charge the phone and not the audio interface itself which requires a separate brick (or batteries) Power supply... the whole point of this is to take it portable but based on the current config... it is simply NOT. Pricy and bulky... They could have created a single charger for both the Audio interface and the iPhone.

I have to disagree with all the negative reviews. It doesn't need a recording app running in order to operate, it just works as a charger, no matter what, and of course, it charges my iPad Air while I am using iRig MIDI Duo. And yes, it can save you whenever low battery is an issue. A word of notice though: the multi pin cable that connects your iRig-(anything) to the Powerbridge, has to be pressed firmly (and I mean: firmly) onto the Powerbridge; or else, you will experience sudden restarts of your iPad - very disturbing. Of course, before you apply pressure, check carefully the pins to be sure that you insert it correctly into the plug.

Works with the iPad and IK iRig Pro Duo, but there are two issues with it. First, it needs a recording app open and the audio interface powered on, to charge. It won't help avoid having another - general charger, and the fun of frequent cable switching. Second, it does not act as a power supply for the interface: you still need batteries or a separate 9V DC brick. That said, combined with the iRig Pro Duo it makes arguably the only affordable audio interface on the market that doesn't lock your iPad in a dock and charges it while in use. Hence a disappointing, but not a regrettable purchase.

This item did not work as claimed. It did not charge my Ipad, so was of no use.

Can’t get the thing to work. WASTE OF MONEY Bought iRig Stream for Vlogging DJ sets. Good interface BUT Drains phone battery in use and couldn’t pass sound out of the box. Okay re-read manual booklet again and again. Watch YouTube videos. Okay I think I get it - it needs the IK app open to hack the phone into accepting audio-in whilst using another app like Facebook live. Good that now works but Uh-oh power draining fast so fun limited. See that despite the price iRig Stream needs own power supply OR for clean signal etc. The power bridge! Hella Expensive for a power supply but hey the conditioner is the money right? No it doesn’t actually do what it is claimed to do. My iphone still doesn’t charge in use. Complete waste of money and back to square one. What I NOW realise having lost days of my life and missing two virtual gigs ££££ is that ALSO need a power supply for the iRig Stream As well... check the IK website and they want £££££ for a basic power supply for the thing that didn’t come with one in the first place... £@£&£&&*!!! Sorry IK this is a pile of crap. Just be honest box your stuff already with a power supply from the get go (you can get these for £5) and sell the power bridge for the £20 which it is worth. Current approach is a con and makes enthusiastic customers hate you.

I can't find the specs anywhere. Not on Ik Multimedia website not here on Amazon. I bought an IRig Key IO 49. I did not come with the power supply. Looking for a supply that will charge the IPad and the keyboard simultaneously, when connected to the IRig Key IO 49. I looked for the specs on IK Multimedia site on the IRig Key IO 49 page and all it says is: Other Input/Output DC barrel: 1x DC barrel for power and device charging. No specs on hoe many Volts, polarity, how many mA, nothing. Here on the IK Multimedia 148208 iRig PowerBridge Cable, no info nether. I used to remember buying electronic equipment and electronic music instruments and have all these information on the manual as well as on the unity itself, next to the power input. Has the laws about electronics health and safety changed? I am really disappointed with IK Multimedia treating it's clients like dummies.
