KEEP YOUR DRINKS COLDER AND STRONGER FOR LONGER The Ice Ball Maker from Drinking Rocks makes slow melting ice balls so you can enjoy your drinks how you like 'em; cold and strong! Perfect for whiskey, scotch, rum, tequila, mixed and non-alcoholic drinks. Cheers! Ice Ball vs Ice Cube: It's Science! Ever wondered why bartenders use spherical balls of ice in drinks, nowadays? You know, the large ones that fill the glass? Apart from looking pretty darn cool, there's another reason. It chills the drink quickly while exposing it to as little surface area as possible, or in other words, without diluting it quickly. Now you can take your time and savour the full flavor of your favorite tipple. Unless you like weak, watered down drinks? Nah. We didn't think so! The Drinking Rocks Guarantee. Drinking Rocks bar accessories are designed to enhance the drinking experience. Whether you're a whiskey connoisseur, an aspiring mixologist, or the consummate party host, our products will help you make the best drinks ever and ensure your parties are the talk of the town. In fact we're so confident you'll love our Ice Ball Maker, we offer 30-day money back guarantee. If you're not happy with your purchase for whatever reason, we'll refund you in full - no questions asked and no hard feelings! We also have a 90-day exchange policy if you'd like to make a change. Requires experimentation
These are pretty good when you get it right. Don't fill beyond the line, because the ice expands as it freezes, and if there's too much it will force open the collar and create a sphere with one larger half. For the same reason, try to weigh down the top part. I'm finding it hard to get clear ice since it seems to crack because of the change in temperature when removed fro the freezer (it doesn't crack into pieces, but cracks internally which means it becomes translucent, not clear).I think it's a nice novelty item. I'm not sure whether I think it was worth the money though.

Be Aware Of Size
Great product. Easy to fill and extract ice ball. Be aware these are very large ice balls and will not fit in traditional size glasses.More appropriate for the modern goldfish bowl gin glasses - not a criticism just an observation.

Best I've tried
Far better than the silicone ones I bought before. Easy to perfect after a couple of practice runs - just fill to just under the fill line, slowly add the lid, push the edges down and put in the freezer. Once frozen, remove the rubber and give a little tap and presto - ice ball. Experiment with slow freezing for the clearest balls you've ever seen.

Great balls of ice!
I LOVE these! They're so easy to use and create fantastic balls of ice for my G&Ts. They last well in the glass and look amazing. Ordinary ice cubes just don't cut it after using them.

FANTASTIC ENORMOUS ice cubes
Well worth the money. Better to spend a bit extra than waste £5 on the cheaper small ones.If you want a large round ice cube to fill a whiskey glass this is what you need.Much bigger ice cubes than the standard round trays.Excellent quality mounds. Super easy to use (literally fill them and put the mounds in). Makes PERFECT round HUGE ice cubes. Takes about 5 hrs to freeze. I imagine you could put all sorts of things in them to make funky different ice cubes.

Fun novelty, but you need to make sure the lids are weighed down with something in the freezer. If you do weigh the lids down, then you'll get near perfect spheres. If you don't, as the ice expands, it will push the silicon lid up created a sphere with two different-sized hemispheres.Note, this sphere of ice doesn't keep your drink as cold as a normal glass full of ice cubes, but it does appear to last longer.
