46/54/62 Inch Large Golf Umbrella Windproof Reverse Travel Umbrella

I have used it 3-4 times and it has worked well 8). I have the 54in canopy and found it perfect for the downpours i was caught in, no worries about getting wet. It was windy one of those times and it handled it great, pulled my arm up a little and that's about it. It's nice that it is bigger than the standard umbrella but compacts down so small and stores upside down. Might not be the lightest but its metal, feels sturdy and functions great so weight is of no importance to me as long as it works

Tbis is a nice, large umbrella. Seems well made. It is a little heavier than other umbrellas I've had, but I figure that's because it's also larger. I got the 54", to have a wider cover when open. The larger size protects me from the rain better than smaller arc umbrellas. It's easy to open, but closing it for me is somewhat difficult. Once the button is pushed to close it, it pops closed very well. But my trouble comes with pushing the folded canopy back down into the locked position. That is very hard to do, and I always have to put the handle against my leg or belly, and then really push the canopy part in to lock it closed. But so far, that is my only issue with it. The color is pretty, it fits into my backpack side pocket, and protects from the rain very well. I have not used ut in extremely heavy winds, but it has held up in the winds it has experienced so far. I just angle it into the wind and not against it, whenever possible. Overall, I do recommend this umbrella. Just be aware that it may be hard to close when you're finished using it.

This umbrella is really nice. I'm so glad I got such a big umbrella because I stand outside and wait for my daughter after school in the AZ heat and the shade covers a lot and it's significantly cooler under it. It's gotten turned inside out from a strong breeze a few times and it bounces right back and the function of the umbrella hasn't been affected.

Update: I reached out, and they did provide a replacement, so update this this rating to reflect that. Umbrella is mostly likely solid, I've used it less than a dozen times. However... the wrap holding the umbrella started tearing on day 1... after just a couple months of use and less than a dozen times it completely fell off. Reached out to the manufacturer, if they honor warranty will update this review. Otherwise would not recommend, leave a hole in the umbrella.

Overall, I love this umbrella. Being compact but still quite large when expanded is great. It does not hold up to wind very well, and flips out backwards very easily. However, I still give it 5 stars as I understand it might be hard otherwise to have a large umbrella that collapses this small and not have this happen.

Bought this in May 2025, so have had it about 16 months now. It's gotten light to moderate use and mostly stays collapsed and wrapped up in my backpack. The PROs: * The umbrella is nice and large for its folded-up size, while still being light. * The vent in the canopy helps a little bit with wind while not letting rain through. * The automatic collapse is a very convenient feature to have. The CONs: * The light construction reveals itself as sub-standard quality when it's stressed. Lighter breezes will reveal that the umbrella's stem is wobbly and flimsy, and it becomes hard to hold straight in moderate wind because it's not reinforced sufficiently at the handle. * The handle is small, and due to this plus the lack of control/rigidity above, the large canopy causes it to catch the wind easily and immediately pull into a position where the umbrella will invert itself. * One of the thin threads holding the canopy to the folding umbrella arms broke after a few months. While it doesn't cause any major functional issues, it does mean that the canopy is less controlled in that area, and others may snap at any time. * The button is difficult to press in and has been for almost the entire time I've had it. Sometimes I'll need to press it with both my thumbs to get it to activate. Additionally, today (early September 2026), the button broke and is now sitting recessed in the handle a bit. It takes even more effort to open now, and will no longer collapse the umbrella when open at all. * The "reverse fold" design of the umbrella is more a detriment than an improvement. Instead of keeping the outside wet and allowing the umbrella to air dry even when it's folded, the water is now trapped inside the folded umbrella, and doesn't dry properly (and still drips out on your backpack or floor anyway). Additionally, if it's collapsed but not wrapped up, and you're holding it normally in your hand on a windy day, the umbrella will partly unfold itself due to the reverse design catching the wind, making it awkward to hold unless you wrap and secure it any time you're not using it. To sum up: I don't recommend this umbrella. It's flimsy, it doesn't hold up to moderate use over a short timeframe, and the design is not superior to a normal umbrella style.

This was awesome. We went to Alaska where we knew it would be windy and stormy and this was advertised as one that will not turn inside out, and it’s giant so it will cover all of you AND your backpack. It worked great! My daughter and I each got one, we used them through most of the trip, we were so glad to have them! Recommend!

for folding umbrella this is huge but NOT STURDY in same time and feels unstable - it will be unpleasant in wind - definitely not ok for women. Is very heavy and big when is folded as well. Will return this one - not worth the price.
