I am experiencing more and more close passing but don't want to aggravate the situat** A: No , never had this in fact quite the opposite which is why I use it. Get the ref and report them for dangerous driving **Q: Did anyone else have trouble tightening the bolt? It just won't tighten on mine. Bolt seems too short to grip.** A: It tightened ok for me. Sounds as though you may have stripped the thread or maybe the bar you are fitting it to is too thick for it and the screw is not reaching far enough through. Try a self tapping screw of suitable size or a longer screw.. **Q: does this come with a fixing to fit it on to bike** A: As far as we can remember it comes with a fitting to connect it to a tube under a saddle. We didn't actually buy it to use on a bike but to fix to a gate post, so can't be absolutely sure. Sorry not to be more helpful. **Q: How long these are? I had originally seen them in use in Holland. Works better than described, in that if I do not unfold it, the traffic passes by me much closer. Cyclists who have been following me have commented that they have noticed the traffic edge over further: after all, if the traffic touches it, it is proof that they were driving too close. By the same token, I don't cycle too close to other traffic, to avoid scratching them. I gives me a true sense of security (rather than a false sense of security, as I don't take unnecessary risks just because it is fitted).
