Will using three pods ruin my machine
How many pairs of jeans would I be able to have in one cycle? I have a few faded black jeans!
Do the 'pods' replace the packet machine dyes? i've only ever used the packets so not sure which is better/if there's any difference

Great colour results
Lovely colour. Used on some whites that had become less than brilliant white.Easy to use, much easier with machine dye and great results. Will be making sure I have some of these pods to hand in future. My single pod dyed 1 king size flat sheet.1 king size fitted sheet.1 adult t shirt.1 child's top.2 pillowcases.2 yards of cheesecloth fabric.Edit: I should add that I have a 10kg drum in my washing machine. So the items put inside to dye, did not exceed the required half full drum. The items need sufficient room to freely rotate in the drum to ensure even coverage.

Easy to use and work really well.
Use these pods quite regularly. Have used to refresh colour of clothing and also to dye items a darker colour. Easy to use and work really well if you follow the instructions.

Dye has come a long way - it's now super easy to use, worked well, but results are still variable.
I remember the days of boiling up our dyes with tons of salt so this has impressed me greatly for the ease of use.I took care with the instructions.I checked the wash cycle.I was dying 100% cotton bedding (to de-grey the house). It worked really well and the green took nicely over tones of pale grey - you could just still see the pattern through but I rather liked that. However, results are variable - the next things I dyed were also 100 cotton, but the colour took quite differently.I then pushed my luck and dyed a pair of curtains from the same range (also 100% cotton). Worried that they would come out different shades if I did them separately as the other items had done, I was keen to wash both together, but even though I used 3 packs for that attempt I pushed my luck on the amount of fabric in the machine and it came out uneven (streaks of darker tones across where the fabric must not have unfolded in the machine). I did pause the machine part way through and moved the fabric by hand to try to mitigate this - achieving nothing but a green hand lol.I'm not too unhappy with results - it's made an inexpensive change to my bedroom colour theme, but not one thing matches even though I used the same dye, and when the curtains are closed the uneven streaks show, so if you're determined to have everything the same shade this may not be the way to go for you.So - overall, fabulous, especially for single items. But not without issues to be mindful of if you're shade matching, which may be a big deal for some people.

Refresh your jeans
I dyed my white jeans with this dye in washing machine. Overall, the colour is even and a bit deeper than expected. It doesn't dye the nylon thread though, so stitches remained white. But still looks great and I am happy with it!

Great product!
Thank you. Great product, ready mixed with salt and easy to use in washing machine. Leaves clothes really soft, especially jeans and gives new life to dull clothes. It doesn't smell in the carton and I can't comment on the finished product smell as I use conditioner in my wash. Great dye!! Thank you!

Works well but scrub your rubber seal
So, bought this to dye some towels and a light coloured top. Colour took well, although I got a wierd round dark circle, shape of colour pod on my sweatshirt, where it had sat, even tho no dye on base...wierd.You have to do a empty drum was afterwards but this does not clear the residue in the door rubber. It's mucky and annoying.

Well worth it!
Can't recommend enough. Bought to dye a navy dress that was faded from the sun. Excellent coverage, no runs or patches, came out as new. No colour damage to the machine. Far easier to use than the old dylon method. Will be using on other clothing. Well worth it for the price.

Disappointed with the Results – No Noticeable Difference
I purchased two pods of Dylon Washing Machine Fabric Dye Pod in Intense Black (350g) with high expectations, as I wanted to refresh the color of two faded black jeans and a black jeans jacket. Unfortunately, the results were extremely disappointing. How I Used It:I carefully followed the instructions, ensuring that I used both pods in a 40-degree cotton wash cycle as recommended.I dyed all three items (two jeans and one jacket) in the same cycle, ensuring they had enough space for the dye to distribute evenly.I did not pre-wash, as per the product guidelines. The Outcome:Jeans Trousers: I can hardly see any difference—they remain almost as faded as before.Jeans Jacket: Absolutely no visible change whatsoever. It still looks as faded as it was before dyeing.Issues & Concerns:1. Lack of Intensity – Despite using two full pods, the color did not take as expected. I was hoping for a deep, refreshed black, but the fabric barely darkened.2. No Impact on Denim – Perhaps this product does not work well on jeans material, even though the description does not warn against it.3. Waste of Money – Given the poor results, I feel like I wasted my money on something that did not deliver.Final Verdict:I had high hopes for this dye, but it failed to make any noticeable difference. If you're looking to revive faded black denim, this product may not be effective at all. I would not repurchase or recommend it based on my experience.Slight hope that it might work better on different fabrics, but not for denim.

Follow instructions and put the clothes through a wash at the end with washing powder and fabric conditioner, that washes your machine too.
