Bonsai Pruning Scissors - General Purpose (Inc Postage)

Probably not the most long-lasting of sharpest, but they do the job and for the price I can't really complain. Small and easy to handle, I use them for cutting herbs and work just fine.

Ordered two pairs as I mislaid the first pair. It was for a gift so now I have a pair. Not used them yet.

Value for money - 4/5 Sturdy enough, feel heavy and comfortable. Sharp enough.Sturdiness - 4/5 Good and sturdy for intended purpose.Easy to use - well, they are scissors? If you have not mastered them yet, perhaps some practice with plastic ones before you get these.....?

The Japanese have an understanding of steel which is far better than anyone else in the world. In Britain, we tend to prefer stainless steel for its convenience because it doesn't rust. But this is a trade off against hardness. These bonsai scissors are hard steel, not stainless steel, which means that they are sharper, and stay sharper. A very simple, very traditional, and very good tool. Would highly recommend

These are great little scissors. Purchased for working with flowers they are sharp and effective and no doubt a perfect size if using for bonsai as advertised. However for my needs they were much too small hence the reason for only 3 stars.A lesson learned: note to self: read the details next time !Happy Snipping !

Amazing quality, especially for the price. Made in China of course. Carbob steel blades coated with oil for shipping. Forged-style handles are very traditional looking and feel comfy to hold and use. With reasonable care (keeping blades clean) these should last a very long time and given the proper carbon steel could be re-sharpened if necessary 9diamond file). Top rating but I'm trying to stop buying items made in China - it's very difficult.

Hi, these are perfectly shaped, easy to use, light yet durable. They are the perfect companion for any Bonsai Tree set or any small plants that require pruning. Good value!
