You Know The Best Thing About Being A Beatles Fan Is .....That We Have Can Experience The Pleasure Of A Masterpiece Of The REVOLVER ALBUM , Now This Album Is 49 Years Old For Goodness Sake But I Was So Excited When My 180 Gram Audiophile Vinyl Arrived , I Was Shaking And Smiling So Much My Face Hurt My Whole World Was Complete ( Okay A Bit Over The Top There Eh ! ) Anyway You Get My Drift, This Mono Remaster Is Really A Fantastic Example Of How Much More Talented And Vision The Beatles Were Over Every Other Group Around Then And Even Now , Their Songwriting And Music Was Taking A Different Path And The Changes In Style Were Starting To Appear And George Harrison Was Now Beginning To Be Taken Seriously As A Songwriter So Much So That John & Paul Had To Include 3 Of His Songs On This Album, In My Opinion The Pick Of Them Has To Be TAXMAN, Very Close To Be The Best On The Album, But John Gets In There First With The Fantastic SHE SAID,SHE SAID And YOUR BIRD CAN SING...Just Brilliant , Now I Have Been A Beatles Fan For At Least 44 Years And I Must Say That This Mono Issue Is Very Impressive And A Pleasure To Listen To ( sounds just exactly how it should be the way our lads first cut release mono) The Vinyl Is Flat And Solid On The Turntable And No Wobble , No Distortion On Sound , No Horrible Feedback Or Static, So That It Is Very Quiet When The Cartridge Needle First Touches The Vinyl And Then The Music Begins With That Magnificent First Track TAXMAN.....Total Brilliance, You Really Got To Buy This Vinyl Record To Hear This Album At It"s Fully Superb Best . Buy It Now Go On You Need This.

Quality item good service

Having read some of the other reviews on Amazon concerning numerous quality control issues - scratches, marks, bumps - I was a little apprehensive in purchasing this LP. Having bought reissues of all the other Beatles albums through Amazon with absolutely zero quality problems, I was a little perplexed as to why there were so many reviews indicating quality problems. Well, after a lot of umming and arrring, I finally decided to take the plunge and complete my Beatles 2010's reissue collection... and I am VERY happy with the results. There are a couple of alternative reissues of 'Revolver' selling online (such as a 2017 reissue published by De Agostiniso and a 2019 unofficial release through Odeon) so i was a little uncertain as to which version would arrive in the post. Thankfully I received the 2012 reissue, which looks and sounds fantastic - the quality of the product matches the quality of the music in all aspects! Wonderfully weighty vinyl, that sounds crisp and clear - it's as if The Beatles were playing in my living room. I won't write about the music because The Beatles speak for themselves. Needless to say, if you are apprehensive about buying this, please do not be. A wonderful product which is worth every penny, and I look forward to the many delightful hours of listening to come! All that is left to say, in the words of Paul McCartney, 'Good Day Sunshine'!

First of all I have been waiting for this vinyl box set with some trepidation since I heard it was to be pressed by GZ, my past experiences with their pressings have been poor to say the least (see my Lennon plastic ono band reissue review) however my Revolver box set is pressed fine. That over with onto the content I have listened to the stereo version of Revolver since the early 1970,s and have always been frustrated by the early 60,s stereo mix I guess that stereo mixing for "pop" records at that time was in its infancy and the mix has always felt like they threw the kitchen sink at the recording, vocals panned hard to one channel instruments to the other, I later discovered that at the time the mono mix was the primary aim, as at the time few people had access to stereo record players, much later I listened to a mono Revolver and much preferred it. This stereo remaster changes that, at last revolver sounds like a rock recording in stereo rather than an early studio experiment in stereo sound. For those who have not ever heard the mono version then of course this box set also includes a copy and I think I still prefer it, for those who only ever listened to the original stereo Revolver it should be an education to hear revolver sound as the Beatles intended it at the time. The outtakes are interesting but not essential except to beatles compleatists though John's original demo for what became yellow submarine is of interest, the accompanying book is nice and overall the box set is worth having especially if you have not got a mono Revolver, so after all that why only 4 stars? Because the entry price is too high and so not the best value for money

Commençons par le box: il est magnifique. Le carton est solide, le "cover" dessiné par Klaus Voormann est très bien reproduit avec une qualité irréprochable. Vraiment très bien fait. A l'intérieur on retrouve d'abord le livret "hard cover" avec des photos superbes et certaines inédites. Le livret contient une préface par Paul, par Gilles Martins (fils de Georges) et un essay qui est très intéressant. On y trouve également toutes les informations sur les enregistrements etc, chanson par chanson. Ensuite il y a 3 albums. Le premier est la version STEREO remixée et remastérisée. Au début un peu déconcertant pour ceux qui sont habitués au mix de l'original et typique des années 60 et les débuts de la stéréo dans la musique "pop". Mais très vite on y trouve une alternative qui en vaut vraiment la peine. Une image sonore plus près du "concert" en studio, avec une position bien plus réaliste des voix et instruments. Ceci permet de mieux entendre chaque instrument, chaque voix, chaque effet... Ensuite la version MONO, la version la plus populaire à l'époque de sa sortie, quand les jeunes écoutaient sur des tourne-disques avec une seule enceinte et donc en mono. C'est dans le mix MONO que les artistes s'investissaient. La version MONO est donc le mix auquel les Beatles ont participé activement et qui s'approche donc le plus de ce qu'ils ont voulu obtenir comme "son" pour cet album très innovant de tout point de vue. Le troisième, est un double album avec des version inédites, des outtakes, des démos etc. Hyper intéressant mais pas des vinyles qu'on écoute très souvent. Moi je conseille l'achat de ce chef d'oeuvre absolu et peut-être d'ailleurs le meilleur LP des Beatles. Faut-il pour cela acheter ce BOX onéreux ? Non, mais cet album mérite sa place dans la discothèque de tout amateur de musique. "vive Revolver !"

ビートルズでどのアルバムが好きか、ベストワンは何かと聞かれると、 同率で「ラバー・ソウル」と「リボルバー」になります、ボクの場合！！ 「リボルバー」は、後期スタートを飾るサイケでポップな傑作で、 以後のサウンドの原点となる名曲が満載なんですね〜(⌒▽⌒) 「And Your Bird Can Sing」大好きです！！

Llegó en buenas condiciones y justo en el día indicado de entrega. La calidad y el contenido es de lo mejor, con contenido exclusivo y sin duda es uno de los albums que más me encantan, valió la pena la espera y cada centavo. Mi primer disco a la colección Beatle💓✨

Schöne Sammler Edition in guter Qualität. Auch wenn die Druckerei offenbar "Probleme mit den Schwarztönen" zu haben scheint, ist diese Ausgabe dieses mal ganz gut gelungen. Soundqualität ist super. An der Schallplatten Pressung gibt es dieses mal nichts zu meckern. Die Platten machen einen hochwertigen Eindruck und laufen plan. Auch der Label Druck sieht sehr gut aus. Besonders toll finde ich das Demo Label auf den beiden Platten mit den Studio Outtakes, die ich persönlich als eingefleischter Fan sehr spannend finde. Ach die beigefügte Single ist sehr gut gelungen. Nur schade dass dieses mal keinen bisher unveröffentlicher Track auf der Edition ist. - Einziges Manko der Edition: Das Buch gibt es wieder einmal nur in Englischer Sprache. Das finde ich sehr schade. Für jemanden der nicht perfekt Englisch kann ist das Lesen des Buches sehr schwierig und teils fast unmöglich. Früher war das einmal anders. Ansonsten kann ich die Edition nur empfehlen.
