A Great Non OEM Option That Does The Job Perfectly
Purchased as a like for like replacement on a Merlyn shower screen. The seal strip arrived well protected and very importantly, it's dimensions as listed were accurate. Both rigid and flexible where required, the seal was easy to cut and install. Fit wise it was perfect and provides the seal along the top of the bath that was needed. Compared to the OEM version, this is very good value for money.

Warm it up with hot water make it pliable for easy fitting
Perfect for fitting to our glass shower screen easy to fit if you warm it up in hot water. Does a perfect job of preventing water from escaping under the glass

Use only on 4mm thickness glass screens
Bought for a bath shower screen. It is an extremely tight fit on a 5mm glass thickness- not sure it would fit a 6mm even though it states fits 4-6mm thickness. I tried all the usual tricks of cleaning the screen then using a little washing up liquid to ease the fitting, plus heating up the seal with a hairdryer before finally getting it to slide on. Even then there’s still a slight seepage of water at the point of the seal meeting the end swivel post on the screen. Hence the 4 star rating. It’s of good quality and it arrived quickly. Would I recommend? Yes, but only for a 4mm thickness screen.

Excellent value.
After 5 years the seal on our Ideal Standard, 5mm, curved glass shower screen had discoloured. It was very clean but had become yellow with age - there is nothing that can get rid of this colouring as it is not a surface problem -the rubber has effectively changed colour. To replace with an original seal was going to cost nearly £40. (The gap between the screen and the bath runs from about 16mm down to 10mm). I spent much time searching for a cheaper replacement and found many like this one at about £5 and another (Uniblade) at £22. There is a big difference in price here, even though the Uniblade seal is UK made, comes in two parts and seems a more 'high tech' product. I was wanting to pay £5 but felt that the alternative had to be a better seal. After much deliberation I could not bring myself to pay £22 for a simple seal and therefore chanced a fiver on this one, based on good reviews. The seal arrived very quickly and packed into a neat plastic delivery tube. There were no instructions at all - however it is questionable whether this little job really needs any. It took seconds to pull off the old seal, minutes to clean the glass and about two minutes to fit and trim the new one. There was NO need to heat or soak this flexible seal. It is a good tight fit onto the glass and needs to be pushed on from underneath rather than trying to slide it from one end to the other. It trims off easily with a sharp craft knife. Due to the tight fit onto the glass I would not recommend this job to elderly folk as a degree of strength is needed. It is vital that the seal is pushed well into the upright frame on the screen before trimming, otherwise there is a risk of cutting it too short. So within minutes we now have a well fitting, inexpensive and clear seal. Even if I have to replace this every year or so it is still a good deal cheaper than an original. I will now purchase another as a spare and I'm pleased I took a risk not buying the Uniblade seal. When in use there are no leaks, so nothing to worry about there either. The attached photos show the old seal, the screen without a seal, the untrimmed new seal, and the finished job.

Easy to install, great quality
Very easy to fit, it was my first time setting one of these and it was very easy. Very good quality as well, the water doesn't leak anymore and it has a good grip.

A bit tricky to use, but decent product
This works well, but we found the instructions difficult to understand and fitting also wasn't straightforward
