Otosan Ear 50ml Spray

ORIGINALLY POSTED 10:10:2014 No-one down at the clinic believes me when I tell them that the olive oil they insist I squirt into my ears for 3 days prior to a syringing is inimical to them. Even the pharmaceutical product causes irritation - and then they won't do the syringing because, they say, my ears are "inflamed" and want me to wait a month to see the GP (by when they are no longer inflamed, of course - just still blocked...)So I tried this stuff, made in Italy, from a melange of plant extracts; I can detect the odour of geranium oil in particular. Not only does it not irritate my ears, it's a doddle to apply, even makes them smell nice (for anyone who cares to sniff them) - AND it actually dissolves the wax. I can't praise it too highly.We are all different, of course, and whilst it works for me, may not necesarily work for you - but it's certainly worth a try.*********************UPDATE 17:3:2018. Four years on from posting the above review, I can report that one of my greatest wishes in life is that I had discovered this product many, many years before. A lifetime of wax problems came abruptly to an end when I started using it, and the annual syringing (or vacuuming on those occasions when I was sent to the ENT outpatients' department) ceased just as abruptly, now being but a distant memory.

I've been plagued by otitis external and itchy/waxy ears for years. The doctor usually prescribes otimize ear spray which works very well but is a chemical cocktail. The dr wasn't keen to prescribe again this time so asked me to use olive oil for a week, despite me explaining how bad the itching was.My ears worsened over the course of a week and by Friday they were almost swollen shut, burning and ringing and causing me a lot of discomfort. I ordered this out of desperation as the dr can't see me again until late next week.I was anxious as my ears were very raw and I was worried this product might react badly and cause them to burn and sting but I needn't have worried. It came on the Saturday morning and thank god it did! I used it immediately and within minutes the burning and itching eased. I used it again before bed and on Sunday morning and all the swelling has now gone down, pain is completely gone and the itching has dulled right down to tolerable levels.Given how poorly my ears can make me feel, this stuff has worked miracles in just two days.As the dr has no idea what causes my ear troubles, they didn't know how to treat me so if this stuff continues to work as well as it has this weekend then my troubles may finally be over and my dr visits will be a thing of the past!If you have persistent itchy ear issues then this stuff is incredible :)

It’s not bad but It could more effective.

I suffer with a build up of wax during the summer months normally when it gets that bad i cant here what is on TV its 2 weeks of olive oil and having them syringed but the last time i had it done i got an ear infection as a result and the pain was unbearable and i was on antibiotics for a weekSo when this year it happened i thought i would look to see what else i could use and i came across Otosan it was all natural ingredients so i thought id give it a goThe first thing i noticed was the bit that goes in your ear and directs the spray were it was needed deeper inside my ear i sprayed my ear a few times a day and after two days of using it i could here again now im not claiming the miracle cure here but it really worked for me no need for the messy olive oil or the syringe and it really does clean the inside of your ear its the best money i have spent on my ears ever if you are fed up with ear wax give it a try you will not regret it

I am pleased to write that the product is beginning to help my ear problem, it's taking me a few weeks with added patience waiting for the ear wax to soften, I continue to use the product and have received relief, ear wax is softening, my ear is not so blocked, my hearing is improving! To aid the process of removing the softened ear wax I also use a 20ml irrigation syringe filled with sterilized warm water that has been firstly boiled, then I leave the boiled-sterilized water to cool right down so it reaches room temperature before USING! This has helped me to painlessly flush out the softened ear wax. I would buy again from this seller in the future. Thank you to the seller also to Amazon for the 100% all round service given! not totally cleared ears but best treatment i have tried. easy to use. went from not being able to hear car indicator ticking to being able to in days..i know strange comparison but it was the thing i noticed most,,,used twice daily and now once a day still not 100% hearing but deffo better than the other over counter products from chemists. will be reusing

I use this every week or so to help stop the build up of earwax. Works well.I'm not sure that it would work so well on clearing a blocked ear, but probably would help soften the wax before micro suction or syringing. However I use the olive oil drops for softening earwax.

Risolto il problema del cerume per mia figlia di 6 anni, le si formavano sempre dei tappi ma usando regolarmente questo prodotto dopo qualche mese abbiamo pulito bene le orecchie e continuando ad usarlo prima della doccia non si sono piú formati!!

J'avais une inflammation liée à un dépôt de cire type boule quies, ça faisait des mois que ct douloureux au toucher, je n'y croyais donc pas tellement mais ça s'est résolu après 3-4 jours d'application ! Ca m'a aussi aidé à retirer cet excédent à l'aide d'un cure oreille que je passais qql minutes après avoir mis le spray... petit à petit, au fil des semaines, je pense que le macérat contenu ds le spray y a été pour qqlchose. Très contente de cette expérience !

Ho acquistato lo spray Otosan per l'igiene dell'orecchio e devo dire che mi sto trovando davvero bene. Cercavo da tempo una soluzione che fosse più sicura dei classici cotton fioc, che come sappiamo rischiano solo di fare danni, e questo spray è perfetto perché pulisce in modo delicato e senza rischi.L'utilizzo è abbastanza pratico e, cosa fondamentale, l'applicazione non è per nulla fastidiosa. Basta usarlo un paio di volte a settimana per mantenere le orecchie pulite e fresche senza alcuno sforzo.Nota super positiva per il prezzo: pagato solo 7,50 € per il formato da 50 ml, che trovo assolutamente corretto per la qualità del prodotto. Tra l'altro, costa decisamente meno rispetto a quanto lo avrei pagato in una normale parafarmacia, quindi il risparmio è garantito. Un altro punto a favore è la scadenza decisamente lunga, addirittura a settembre 2030, il che permette di consumarlo con tutta calma senza l'ansia che scada a breve. Lo consiglio sicuramente!
